Told in a compelling first-person narrative, each episode of Twisted Fate focuses on two individuals who share their gripping, life-changing stories with viewers. Recounting events from the awe-inspiring to the horrific, each person delivers an honest account of an incredible and death-defying moment that transformed them in a way they could have never imagined.
The premiere episode “No Way Out” follows the real-life stories of Cathie McGarry and Ray Krone. McGarry was on a downward spiral – addicted to heroin and hopelessly stuck on a deadly path, she felt powerless to change her life. But a fateful decision to board a downtown bus set in motion a series of shocking events that would change her life forever. Meanwhile, Krone’s life takes an unexpected and devastating turn after being wrongly convicted of a brutal murder and put on death row. But an unforeseen twist of fate changes his life and the criminal justice system forever.
