TSN Delivers Live Coverage of First Ever Canadian Team in the MLS CUP Playoffs on Thursday

TSN has live coverage of the first Canadian team to qualify for the MLS CUP Playoffs, as the Vancouver Whitecaps battle David Beckham and the LA Galaxy in the Western Conference Knockout Round onThursday, Nov. 1 at 10:30 p.m. ET (see below for full broadcast schedule). Live coverage is also available on TSN Mobile TV, TEAM 1040 in Vancouver, andTEAMRadio.ca.

MLS ON TSN play-by-play commentator Luke Wileman and analyst Jason deVosare on site at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California to call the single elimination game.

The Vancouver Whitecaps secured the Western Conference’s final playoff spot to take on the fourth place and defending MLS CUP Champion, LA Galaxy. The Whitecaps are anchored by Scottish international midfielder Barry Robson and the explosive attacking tandem of Darren Mattocks and Camilo. Along with Beckham, LA Galaxy’s star-studded line-up includes Robbie Keane, Ireland national team captain, and Landon Donovan, last year’s MLS CUP MVP.

The winner of the Western Conference Knockout Round takes on the top-seeded San Jose Earthquakes in the two-game Western Conference Semifinal. TSN2 has live coverage of both games, with Leg #1 on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 9 p.m. ET (if LA is hosting) or 10 p.m. ET (if Vancouver is hosting) and Leg #2 on Wednesday, Nov. 7 (time TBD).

Canada’s Sports Leader also has live coverage of the Eastern Conference Knockout Round featuring Chicago vs. Houston on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 9 p.m. ET on TSN2.
