Sportsnet and Sponsors Bring Fans Three Exclusive NHL Fantasy Games

Do you have your game face on hockey fans? With the highly-anticipated return of the NHL just days away, Sportsnet is inviting Canadian hockey fans to go beyond the on-ice action with three exclusive NHL Fantasy games – Sportsnet Fantasy Hockey Pool: Playoffs Edition presented by RAM, Sportsnet Fantasy Hockey Playoffs Bracket presented by Canadian Tire, and Predict the Playoffs Contest – all available exclusively on sportsnet.ca and the Sportsnet app.

Complementing its exclusive national English-language coverage of the 2020 Stanley Cup Qualifiers and Stanley Cup Playoffs, Sportsnet and its partners will be giving fans the opportunity to win more than $250,000 in cash and prizes for the three contests combined.  The array of fantasy games for casual and hard-core hockey fans alike brings fans closer to the action in new and engaging ways.

Sportsnet Fantasy Hockey Pool: Playoffs Edition presented by RAM

Returning for the third straight post-season, the Sportsnet Fantasy Hockey Pool invites fans to create their own NHL dream team in the digital race to the Stanley Cup. Launched July 15 for the start of the Stanley Cup Qualifiers, the Sportsnet Fantasy Hockey Pool will award more than $130,000 in cash and prizes, including the grand prize: the winner’s choice of a 2020 Ram 4×4 Crew Cab truck – a Ram 1500 Sport or a Ram 2500 Night Edition customized with Mopar® Accessories. Fans can enter now at sportsnet.ca/RAM and draft their teams by the end of the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Sportsnet Fantasy Hockey Playoffs Bracket presented by Canadian Tire

A fan-favourite fantasy game, the Sportsnet Fantasy Hockey Playoffs Bracket gives Canadians the chance to test their luck as they select series favourites from the Stanley Cup Qualifiers to the Stanley Cup Final. Open for submissions prior to puck drop on August 1, the Sportsnet Fantasy Hockey Playoffs Bracket boasts more than $50,000 in cash and prizes. Fans can create their bracket online at sportsnet.ca/CTbracket today through to the end of the second round of post-season play.

Predict the Playoffs Contest

Complementing Sportsnet’s exclusive NHL broadcasts, the Predict the Playoffs Contest is an in-app contest experience that encourages fans to make bold, split-second predictions in real-time while watching live games on TV. As a new and fun way to engage with the hockey game, Predict the Playoffs Contest uses Megaphone technology to create a unique second-screen experience for fans on their mobile phone. Running from the start of the first round until the end of the Stanley Cup Final, fans have several opportunities to play within each hockey game every night, increasing their chances to win the grand prize of $50,000 and daily awards of $1000.  Predict the Playoffs opens for registration on August 4 and officially launches for the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on August 11. Complete details, including instructions and rules, will be available on sportsnet.ca in coming days.

Sportsnet’s exclusive English-language coverage of the 2020 Stanley Cup Qualifiers gets underway on Saturday, Aug. 1 on Sportsnet, Sportsnet ONE, Sportsnet 360Sportsnet Radio Network and livestreaming on SN NOW and NHL Live.
