CTV’s HUMAN TARGET continues to build momentum as 1.36 million Canadians tuned in to Episode 2 last night on CTV. Out of simulcast, HUMAN TARGET bested 24 (Global/FOX, 1.33 million) and THE BACHELOR (Citytv/ABC, 1.06 million) with total viewers, winning its 8 p.m. timeslot. Last night’s episode was up from Friday’s series debut, hitting all the targets with increases in key demos across the board: up 8% with total viewers, 149% with A18-34, 25% with A18-49, and 15% with CTV’s key demo A25-54.
CTV’s Monday night unbeatable comedy block of TWO AND HALF MEN and THE BIG BANG THEORY delivered another big audience for CTV last night with 2.03 million and 2.11 million viewers respectively. THE BIG BANG THEORY, which delivered a new series high, and TWO AND A HALF MEN, were the #1 and #2 programs of the day* with total viewers and the key A25-54 and A18-49 demos nationally, as well as in the key Toronto and Vancouver markets.
CTV presents an encore presentation of Episode 1 of HUMAN TARGET tonight at 9 p.m. ET. In next week’s Episode 3, “Embassy Row”, (Monday, January 25 at 8 p.m. ET) Chance (Mark Valley) races against time and crashes a black-tie affair at the Russian Embassy to find a friend’s killer. As he becomes embroiled in an international arms deal, he meets his match in a beautiful female counterpart.
