FLASHFORWARD, V and FRINGE Make Spring Debuts

/A\ goes to the outer limits as three of television’s most mind-bending series – FLASHFORWARD, V, and FRINGE – make their Spring premieres. FLASHFORWARD, one of the Fall’s most anticipated new series, rejoins /A\’s primetime schedule with a special two-hour episode beginning Thursday, March 18 at 8 p.m. ET. Viewers can catch-up with a one-hour recap of the series’ first 10 episodes (March 16). The Visitors find a new home as last fall’s #1 new series*, V, moves to /A\ beginning Tuesday, March 30 at 10 p.m. ET. Viewers can catch-up with an hour-long V highlight special recapping the first four episodes (March 23). All four previously aired episodes of V are also available online now for a limited time at CTV.ca. FRINGE, recently renewed by FOX for a third season, and lauded as “the most satisfying, entertaining, coherent story arc of any science-fiction-flavoured prime-time drama” by the New York Times, rejoins /A\’s primetime schedule with eight all-new episodes on Thursday, April 1 at 9 p.m. ET (visit Atv.ca to confirm local broadcast times). Episodes of FLASHFORWARD, V and FRINGE will also be available on demand on the CTV Video Player at CTV.ca following their television broadcast.

About FLASHFORWARD
* Season 1, Spring Premiere
* Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET beginning March 18
* Recap special FLASHFORWARD: WHAT DID YOU SEE? airs March 16 at 10 p.m. ET

In one of the most-anticipated new series last Fall, everyone in the world blacked out for two minutes and seventeen seconds and almost all of them “flashforward”, providing a glimpse into their future. At the end of the Fall season, viewers were left with several burning questions, including; What caused the blackout? What do the “flashforwards” mean? What happens on April 29, 2010? In a March 8 New York Post article, lead Joseph Fiennes (plays agent Mark Benford) hinted at answers. “The first episodes took their time setting up things to be knocked down,” he said. Fiennes added that “It’s about embracing the domino effect, that once you start altering somebody’s life, it can have an effect on someone else’s.” Viewers can catch-up with a one-hour recap special of the series’ first 10 episodes, FLASHFORWARD: WHAT DID YOU SEE?, on March 16 at 10 p.m. ET on /A\.

In the two-hour Spring premiere, “Revelation Zero,” Parts 1 & 2, Mark (Joseph Fiennes) is suspended from duty at the FBI and must meet with a Bureau-appointed therapist in order to regain his badge. Demetri (John Cho) reluctantly teams with CIA agent Vogel (Michael Ealy) to continue the search for Lloyd (Jack Davenport), while a suspended Mark resumes his own investigation into his disappearance. With Lloyd missing, Simon (Dominic Monaghan) attempts to hack into his computer in search of clues. Janis (Christine Woods) is assigned to accompany Simon and learns some family secrets about him. Meanwhile Nicole (Peyton List) speaks with a man who was transformed during the blackout in order to help her restore her faith and understand her horrific flashforward vision.

About V
* Season 1, Spring Premiere
* Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET beginning March 30
* Recap special V: THE ARRIVAL airs March 23 at 10 p.m. ET

When the Visitors, or V’s, landed on CTV last November for a four-episode arc, they appeared friendly to all those they encountered on earth. But secretly, they were building a following that masks a malicious agenda, one that twists a very deep component of human nature. Now, with a new home on /A\, viewers are left wondering what their plan is for the human race. Once thing is certain, every person’s life will change as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. Viewers can catch-up with a V recap special, V: THE ARRIVAL, on March 23 at 10 p.m. ET on /A\. All four previously aired episodes of V are also available online now for a limited time at CTV.ca.

In the Spring premiere, the V resistant movement led by FBI Counter Terrorist Agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) begins to swell as suspicions mount. Joining the star-studded cast is Michael Trucco (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA), who will be taking on the role as underground Resistance leader, John May.

About FRINGE
* Season 2, Spring Premiere
* Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET beginning April 1

On the heels of its third season renewal and half-way into its second bone-chilling season, FRINGE promises more visits from Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek) and to the parallel universe.

In the Spring premiere, “Peter,” Walter (John Noble) flashes back to 1985 while explaining Peter’s (Joshua Jackson) otherworldly origins to Olivia (Anna Torv). Also, Peter’s mother (guest star Orla Brady, MISTRESSES) is introduced and details of the neighbouring world reaffirm that there is more than one of everything.
