On March 27, Indigo will carry the eagerly awaited Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 111 event, featuring one of the best ultimate fighters in the world, Québec’s Georges St-Pierre, live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. St-Pierre will be gunning for his 7th straight victory against Dan “the Outlaw” Hardy of Britain, still undefeated in the UFC, who will be trying to snatch away the UFC welterweight championship that St-Pierre reconquered in April 2008.
Mixed martial arts fans will be able to experience the excitement live in the comfort of their living rooms, along with an audience of millions around the world. Indigo’s coverage will be hosted by analyst Jean-Paul Chartrand Jr. and UFC fighter Patrick Côté.
In addition to the Saint-Pierre–Hardy match-up, Frank Mir and Shane Carwin will square off for the coveted UFC interim heavyweight world championship and nine other bouts will also be on the fight card for this headline international event.
