Citytv Programming Highlights: Monday, April 26 – Sunday, May 2

Tune in to Citytv for a week packed with celebrity guest stars, inspiring reality shows and revealing family dramas. See below for highlights of brand new episodes next week.

Chuck: Monday, April 26 at 10pm ET/PT (9:00pm CT, 8:00pm MT)
While in Europe, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and Chuck (Zachary Levi) realize they’re traveling on a train with Spanish spies. Even though they’re all alone, they decide to take on these rogue agents. Of course, this impromptu mission doesn’t go smoothly. Meanwhile, Beckman (Bonita Friedericy) orders her newest “unlikely” spy team – John Casey (Adam Baldwin) and Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez) – to track down the missing couple.

The Biggest Loser (s/NBC): Tuesday, April 27 at 8:00pm ET/PT (7:00pm CT, 9:00pm MT)
It’s an exciting week for the remaining seven contestants as they head to Dallas to inspire Texans to get healthy and join them in a 5K run at the Cotton Bowl. Then it’s off to a rodeo for a wild challenge involving wrangling calves that will grant immunity to the lucky winner at this week’s weigh-in. And with only seven contestants left, it becomes clearer than ever who is willing to do whatever it takes to be in the final four. Also, season eight fan favourite Abby Rike makes a special appearance this week and invites Jillian to speak at her old high school. Later, back at the ranch, another elimination leaves one player feeling very much alone.

Parenthood (s/NBC): Tuesday, April 27 at 10:00pm ET/PT (9:00pm CT, 8:00pm MT)
Adam (Peter Krause) has his hands full when Kristina (Monica Potter) goes back to work and leaves him with Max (Max Burkholder) and Haddie (Sarah Ramos) for the weekend. Along with taking care of his own kids, Adam gives Drew (Miles Heizer) girl advice when a school dance approaches. Sarah (Lauren Graham) tries to get Amber (Mae Whitman) excited about college by taking her to an event on campus and unexpectedly runs into an ex. Meanwhile, Julia (Erika Christensen) attempts to teach Sydney (Savannah Paige Rae) a lesson about lying and Crosby (Dax Shepard) takes Jasmine (Joy Bryant) on a real date without Jabbar (Tyree Brown).

APRIL 26th UPDATE: The time has changed for Mercy. See below for the update timeslot
Mercy (s/NBC): Wednesday, April 28 at 10:00pm ET/PT (9:00pm CT, 8:00pm MT)
Following a prison riot, several injured prisoners are brought to Mercy for treatment. Veronica (Taylor Schilling) finds herself sympathizing with her patient, but she’s shocked to discover a dangerous secret he’s been keeping. Chloe (Michelle Trachtenberg) tries to convince her college football player boyfriend to take time off from practice to treat his head injury before it’s too late. And, when Sonia’s (Jaime Lee Kirchner) seemingly tough patient admits he’s terrified to return to prison, she can’t help but worry that she may be headed there too – unless she comes clean about her involvement in her former patient’s suicide. Meanwhile, Briggs (James Van Der Beek) is confronted with a difficult decision that could jeopardize his career – or his life.

Modern Family (s/ABC): Wednesday, April 28 at 9:00pm ET/PT (8:00pm CT, 10:00pm MT)
Claire (Julie Bowen) suspects there is more than meets the eye to a surprise visit by Phil’s (Ty Burrell) father (Fred Willard) in a motor home. Meanwhile, Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) offers to fill the drumming vacancy in Dylan’s (Reid Ewing) band, and Manny (Rico Rodriguez) is in shock after seeing a horror movie with Jay (Ed O’Neil) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara).

Community (s/NBC): Thursday, April 29 at 8:00pm ET/PT (7:00pm CT, 9:00pm MT)
After Pierce (Chevy Chase) crosses a line with Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), the group is forced to choose between the two. Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) face off against a group of young bullies, and their mother (guest star Lisa Rinna). Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) embark on a college “bucket list” of things they must accomplish before they graduate.

30 Rock (s/NBC): Thursday, April 29 at 9:30pm ET/PT (8:30pm CT, 10:30pm MT)
Wedding fever hits TGS, leaving Liz (Tina Fey) to sort out Grizz’s (Grizz Chapman) dilemma when both Tracy (Tracy Morgan) and Dot Com (Kevin Brown) want to be his best man. Jenna’s (Jane Krakowski) new boyfriend, Paul (guest star Will Forte), raises Liz and Pete’s (Scott Adsit) suspicions, while Jack (Alec Baldwin) is finally forced to deal with the death of his mentor, Don Geiss, when Geiss leaves him a strange but meaningful inheritance.

The Marriage Ref (s/NBC): Thursday, April 29 at 10:00pm ET/PT (9:00pm CT, 8:00pm MT)
This week, new feuding couples bring their problems to Marriage Ref, Tom Papa, in the funny and revealing comedy series about the unpredictable and hilarious institution of marriage. Sarah Silverman, Matthew Broderick and Martin Short serve on the celebrity panel this week offering their “expert” opinions to the Ref, advising and influencing his decision.

Who Do You Think You Are? (s/NBC): Friday, April 30 at 8:00pm ET/PT (7:00pm CT, 9:00pm MT)
Filmmaker Spike Lee’s (“Do the Right Thing”) interest and passion for African-American history led him to take a deeper look into his own family history. He had one clear question that he wanted answered — “who owned my family?” His journey takes him to Georgia, where he is overjoyed to discover that he has an unexpected connection to his great-great grandfather. Lee’s ancestry trail leads him to Texas, where he comes face to face with an unlikely relative.
