MTV Celebrates the End of An Era With the Series Finales of THE HILLS and THE HILLS AFTER SHOW, July 13

MTV Canada’s own Dan Levy and Jessi Cruickshank, from the home-grown Gemini-nominated hit THE AFTER SHOW, head to the City of Angels on Tuesday, July 13 to host their biggest show ever! The special one-hour episode, THE HILLS LIVE: A HOLLYWOOD ENDING AFTER SHOW airs at 11 p.m. ET/PT, on location from the swanky Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California. Levy and Cruickshank bid adieu to one of MTV’s most popular shows, THE HILLS, in style with one last cheers.

After six unforgettable seasons, THE HILLS says goodbye to millions of fans. Viewers who followed Lauren from Laguna Beach to Hollywood, watched Heidi marry Spencer, and Kristin shock the world with her surprising return, can now witness a finale event that keeps THE HILLS alive forever. And this isn’t just a season finale… it’s the last episode ever!

The night is simulcast live across Canada and the U.S. beginning at 8 p.m. ET with The Hills Live: A Hollywood Ending as Lauren and Whitney reunite with Kristin, Audrina, Lo, Brody, Justin, and Stephanie for an emotional and heart-filled evening. Immediately following, MTV airs the long anticipated series finale at 10 p.m. ET/PT and the Season Two finale of THE CITY at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. The party continues as Lauren makes a very special appearance on The Hills Live: A Hollywood Ending After Show hosted by Levy and Cruickshank where the cast reflects on never before revealed moments.

“THE HILLS AFTER SHOW is a Canadian television success story,” said Brad Schwartz, Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Much MTV Group, CTV Inc. “With more than 100 episodes seen in millions of homes in 15 countries, two Gemini nominations, critical acclaim including Rolling Stone, reverse live simulcasts in the U.S, and thousands of webcam interviews with fans, this show has seen it all. And the most integral part, our brilliant hosts Dan and Jessi. We say goodbye to a show that led the way in Canadian pop culture and most of all, produced two of our country’s biggest young stars.”

Fans can catch up on an all-day THE HILLS and THE CITY marathon on July 11, beginning at 12 p.m. ET. Following the marathon at 9 p.m. ET is THE HILLS: FROM THE BEGINNING, a one-hour special that captures the most memorable and fan favourite moments of the hit series.
