ETALK is Canada’s most-watched entertainment brand. For five years, ETALK has outshone the competition, delivering a larger audience during TIFF on average than any other Canadian entertainment newsmagazine.* Once again, ETALK dispatches Canada’s largest fleet of entertainment producers, cameras, and reporters throughout Toronto to deliver around the clock, up-to-the-minute coverage of Festival news for CTV and its family of channels and platforms. ETALK fuels CTV’s comprehensive TIFF coverage by providing entertainment stories to CTV Evening News across the country and CTV News Channel, daily hits on CP24, Star!, and CHUM FM, and online at tiff.ctv.ca. During the Festival ETALK airs Monday – Friday at 7 p.m. ET (visit CTV.ca for local listings) and at 6 p.m. ET on Star!

The show brings together exclusive access to the best in the business and the best of the Fest. >From Lainey, who is this year’s official TIFF party reporter for The Globe and Mail, to MTV’s Dan Levy, who brings ETALK fans TIFF red carpet fashion hits and misses. Viewers can even add Ben, Tanya, and Lainey to their BlackBerry® Messenger [BBM™] for access to exclusive behind-the-scenes TIFF tips and sightings.

“With the entire film industry camped out in our own backyard, our viewers want to be part of it all, and we make that happen,” said Morley Nirenberg, Director of Production/Executive Producer, ETALK. “Through our extensive coverage and presence on the streets, we create opportunities for fans to stand alongside our team across the city, so that they can really feel the energy of the Festival and watch all the celebrity, glamour and gossip news unfold as it happens.”

ETALK For Fans:

ETALK brings its audience into the streets to join in the Festival fun at any of the ETALK fan lounges set up throughout the Bloor/Yorkville area. Next door, they can cool off with some DAVIDsTea iced tea at the Diesel store and receive free ETALK swag.
