The White House grapples with a mysterious biological threat. Their only hope is to crack Sophia (Laura Innes) during interrogation. Meanwhile, Vicky (Taylor Cole) and Carter (guest star D.B. FBI Agent Collier (Heather McComb), on her search for Leila (Sarah Roemer), stumbles upon Vicky’s secret life. Elsewhere, a powerful businessman, Dempsey (Emmy and Tony award winning guest star Hal Holbrook, Killshot) with classified intelligence and ties to the White House, emerges from the shadows.

After a brutal murder, fugitive Faith Maples (guest star Jennifer Morrison, House) takes her young daughter with her on a harrowing killing spree across Texas. The case becomes more complicated when the suspect’s mental state comes into question and Annie Frost (Kelli Giddish) and the U.S. Marshals uncover a shocking twist in the case.
The Biggest Loser (s/NBC): Tuesday, October 12 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
After learning that two people will be going home this week, the contestants face their first temptation in the form of cupcakes. Later, Chef Curtis Stone shows them that desserts can still be part of their lives by teaching them to prepare delicious, low-calorie cupcakes. At an early weigh-in, trainer Jillian Michaels grows frustrated with one contestant who doesn’t celebrate her successes, and then those who fell below the yellow line face an elimination challenge involving large rolls of carpet.

Kristina (Monica Potter) goes to an Asperger’s support group alone and later tries to convince Adam (Peter Krause) to join her. Meanwhile, Crosby (Dax Shepard) and Jasmine (Joy Bryant) enlist Julia’s (Erika Christensen) help in getting Jabbar (Tyree Brown) accepted at Sydney’s (Savannah Paige Rae) school. Sarah’s (Lauren Graham) performance at the shoe booth exceeds Gordon’s (guest star William Baldwin, Dirty Sexy Money) expectations, causing him to make an unexpected move.

When a vital CIA hard drive goes missing, Steven (Boris Kodjoe) and Samantha (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) must travel to Dublin, Ireland in search of a prisoner who holds the key to its location. Following leads, their mission takes them to England, where they go undercover at the London Philharmonic — with assistance from Leo (Carter MacIntyre) and Hoyt (Ben Schwartz). Meanwhile, Samantha begins to question whether or not she and Steven should speak about their pasts and Lizzy (Mekia Cox) invests time and money in the catering business.

When a prosperous couple is found lying in a pool of blood in their Upper West Side brownstone – the wife dead, the husband barely hanging on – Kathryn (Maura Tierney) charges their 16-year-old son with the crime. A night of intense interrogation elicits a confession from the obviously shaken teenager. Now, Jimmy (Rob Morrow) must prove that the boy was bullied into a false confession by an aggressive detective.
Community (s/NBC): Thursday, October 14 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) decides that Greendale Community College must have its own flight simulator to keep up with “City College”. He enlists the study group to clean and refurbish the Greendale Community College simulator. As Jeff (Joel McHale), Pierce (Chevy Chase), Britta (Gillian Jacobs), Annie (Alison Brie), Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) and Troy (Donald Glover) wash the tattered simulator down, they end up accidentally launching it – sending everyone on an unexpected journey into “outer space.” Abed (Danny Pudi) is left behind to try and navigate a safe “return” for everyone.

On show night, Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) grows increasingly infuriated when no one seems to remember that it’s her 40th birthday. Just before the taping, Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) becomes convinced that nothing is funnier than a performer laughing and breaking character, which he elects to do all night, much to Jenna Maroney’s (Jane Krakowski) chagrin. Meanwhile, Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) struggles with the consequences of his promise to give up drinking while Avery is pregnant.
Fringe (s/FOX): Thursday, October 14 at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT, 10pm MT)
Concerned about the consequences of a distressing development involving a high-ranking official, Newton (Sebastian Roché) is forced to call to action a sleeping shapeshifter. As Walter (John Noble) and the rest of the team gather evidence, they move the investigation to Massive Dynamic, where Olivia (Anna Torv) goes on high alert and Walter finds himself in a perilous situation.
Hell’s Kitchen: Friday, October 15 at 8pm ET/PT/CT/MT
The nine remaining chefs must create dishes using five ingredients selected at random. The winners visit Las Vegas, while the losers peel 1000 potatoes. Later, the teams must shop on a budget and prepare elegant dishes for the four special judges. Plus, there are some special guests at dinner service this week!
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (s/ABC): Sunday, October 17 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
Eight years ago, Rhex Arboleda came to this country from the Philippines in pursuit of the American dream. Since then, Rhex has distinguished himself by locally leading the movement to banish the childhood obesity epidemic. In 2004 he created “Move to the Groove,” a dance program designed to get both teachers and students on their feet and in shape. Ironically Rhex’s own health and wellness and that of his family are compromised by the state of the 70-year-old home they live in. The EM:HE team pairs up with Dancing with the Stars professional dancers: Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, Tony Dovolani, Chelsie Hightower and Anna Trebunskaya, this episode to fix up this dilapidated home and give this family a new lease on life.
