You Can Never Have Too Much Joan! Joan Rivers Stars in All-New Series JOAN & MELISSA: JOAN KNOWS BEST? and HOW’D YOU GET SO RICH? Sundays at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., Beginning May 1 on E!

As a pioneer of comedy and the queen of creating frenzy when it comes to red carpets, the legendary Joan Rivers has taken a whole new generation by storm, as illustrated by her current popularity. The hilarious star never holds back (unless you count her cosmetically held back forehead), and now she’s bringing fans even more of her biting humour with two new series joining E!’s Sunday night lineup this May. In JOAN & MELISSA: JOAN KNOWS BEST?, premiering Sunday, May 1 at 9 p.m. ET on E! Joan decides to spend more quality time with her family and uproots from the East Coast and heads to the West Coast to move in with her daughter Melissa Rivers. Then, on Sunday, May 15, Joan gets to the bottom of how people have made their millions by travelling across the U.S. searching for self-made ‘richies’ in HOW’D YOU GET SO RICH? at 5 p.m. ET (visit eonline.ca to confirm local listings). It all adds up to two hours of non-stop Joan Sunday nights on E!.

Today, Joan Rivers can be found literally everywhere – sharing her outspoken views on E!’s FASHION POLICE, starring in her revealing documentary Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, tweeting with her almost half a million followers, and through the sales and marketing of her successful clothing and jewelry line. Now, she comes to Canadian viewers with two new hilarious shows:

JOAN & MELISSA: JOAN KNOWS BEST?
Premieres Sunday, May 1 at 9 p.m. ET
Melissa Rivers’s world is rocked when her mother Joan decides to switch coasts and infiltrate her home. In this eight-part series, the duo is often loving but also tumultuous, and in the end, this ultimate mother vs. daughter showdown will address the question plaguing daughters since the beginning of time: does mother really know best?

In the first episode, “Joan Moves In,” Joan, the ultimate New Yorker, says goodbye to her friends, packs up her puppies and moves to California to be closer to Melissa and grandson Cooper. But there are a few surprises in store for Joan upon her arrival, including Melissa’s live-in boyfriend Jason.

HOW’D YOU GET SO RICH?
Premieres Sunday, May 15 at 5 p.m. ET
They say the economy is on the rebound, but like it or not, the chances of most of us becoming millionaires is a bit, shall we say, slim. How can we hit the big time? Find out from the pros who have made their fortunes by inventing things like Wee Wee Pads and Velcro wallets. Host Joan Rivers gets to the bottom of how they made their money, and leaves no stone unturned when getting the story behind the moneybags who walk, or rather drive their Ferraris, among us.

The first two half-hour episodes air back-to-back. In “Bubble Blower” at 5 p.m. ET, Joan meets the inventor of the five-chamber bubble blower. He’s so rich his dog not only has a walk-in closet, but also a private chef.

Then, in “Scrubbing Bubbles“ at 5:30 p.m. ET, Joan talks to a man to made his way through Harvard scrubbing toilets. Now, he has a $23 million waterfront mansion with 13 bathrooms and six kitchens, three boats and a gorgeous wife with 200 pairs of shoes. Later, it’s a Rivers-style ambush when she invites herself over to an ultramodern palace in the hills.

JOAN & MELISSA: JOAN KNOWS BEST? is produced by Zoo Productions, with Mark Burnett, John Stevens, Charles Steerveld, Monica Ramon, Annabelle McDonald and John Miller serving as executive producers.
