It’s a Perfect 10 for CTV’s ETALK as Canada’s Most-Watched Entertainment Series Celebrates 10th Anniversary Season

ETALK 10.0 begins right now! ETALKkicks off its tenth anniversary season of exclusive celebrity coverage and Canadian content when it debuts a new amped-up set and striking new on-air look – for the first time in HD – on Tuesday, September 6 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV and 8 p.m. ET on E! (visit CTV.ca and eonline.ca to confirm local broadcast times). The celebration continues throughout the year, with the introduction of its first dedicated website, etalk.ca. Coming off its most successful season ever,ETALK remains Canada’s most-watched and longest-running entertainment newsmagazine.

Evolving out of CTV’s TalkTV channel, it was in 2002 that a new daily, Canadian entertainment digest debuted on conventional television, ETALK DAILY. Since that time, Canadians have proven time and again that CTV’s ETALK is their go-to source for celebrity news, award show coverage and exclusive interviews, profiling Canadian talent and providing a unique Canadian spin to international entertainment news. Helping to build a star system in Canada, pioneering Canadian red carpet production, and creating exclusive backstage lounge opportunities, ETALK is a trailblazer in entertainment reporting and continues to make its mark in Canada and on the international stage.

ETALK was Canada’s first daily entertainment show a decade ago, and we’ve been working to build Canada’s star system and support local talent ever since,” said Morley Nirenberg, Director of Production/Executive Producer, ETALK. “TheETALK brand is known around the world, but it’s the impact we’ve had on Canadian talent that has been the most rewarding, and has helped ETALK reach its 10th Anniversary.”

When the new season premieres on Tuesday, September 6 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV and 8 p.m. ET on E!, ETALK will start their tenth anniversary year with a new set and refreshed on-air look, and for the first time, in HD. The revamped set will be expanded to include an intimate conversation area for exclusive interviews, as well as space to accommodate audiences, all while overlooking the Toronto skyline. Also in celebration of Season 10, ETALK will launch a dedicated website this Fall. Viewers will get a sneak peek of ETALK’s new look through various promos airing this week.
