OUR REVIEW (May contain spoilers)
First, I looked for the U.K. version and it seems that there were only 6 epiosdes plus the pilot. The reviews were generally bad because there was quite a lot of swearing which undermined the quality of the writing. The U.S. pilot was OK, it starts off with the two main characters in bed. We realise early on that both characters are in rebound mode. One bacause his boyfriend died (and she now has more than 20 pictures of him all over her appartment) and the other constantly thinking about his kids which he doesn’t seem to see a lot from a failed marriage. Helen breaks it off right after their first encounter and goes on a mission to get him back on the horse with other girls so she encourages him to serve as a wingman for his friend and co-worker on a double date only. Of course, she totally drinks up, tries to take down the numerous pictures of her ex-fiancé and goest toally bezerk, calls Alex who, of course, runs back in a hurry to confort her and something happens that I think everybody has figured out by now.
All in all, it was OK but as I mentionned before, I don’t usually watch any comedies and will not be watching this one.
RATING: Watch it while you can! (Canceled early on)
