CBC’S Coverage of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for Day 11 (Tuesday)

Tuesday will be a big day for Canadian team sports in Rio with the women’s soccer team vying for a berth in the gold medal match in a semifinal against Germany, while the women’s basketball team takes on France in a quarter-final match-up.

Also on Tuesday, Canadian medal-favourite Derek Drouin will compete for a medal in men’s high jump. Drouin won bronze at London 2012 and is the reigning World Champion and Pan Am Games gold medallist.
