Side-splitting animation uglifies the nation when SOUTH PARK and UGLY AMERICANS take over The Comedy Network this March. On Sunday, March 21 at 9 pm ET/PT, the warped cartoon characters of SOUTH PARK are back and taking satirical dark humour to new levels with an all-new Season 14. Next at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, it’s mass hysteria as horrifying beasts and science-fiction freaks take over the Big Apple in the premiere of half-hour animated series UGLY AMERICANS. Season 14 of SOUTH PARK gets downright ugly with seven new episodes. With their finger on the pulse of pop culture and current events, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are poised to mangle, maim, and disfigure American sensibilities once again with their no-holds-barred social commentary. With topics like pool urination, queefs, and prostitution explored last season, get ready for more forbidden subjects to take centre stage when Cartman and the boys return March 21.
Immediately following all-new episodes of SOUTH PARK, The Comedy Network gets even uglier with new series UGLY AMERICANS. Set in New York City in an alternate universe, the animated series follows the life of Mark Lilly (voiced by Matt Oberg), a social worker at the “Department of Integration,” as he helps new citizens, both human and “other,” adapt to hectic city life. There are easier tasks than weaning vampires off blood, socializing land-whales and housebreaking werewolves, but Mark is up to the challenge.
The premiere episode, “Department of Integration” (D.O.I.) agent Mark Lilly deals with aggressive sexual advances from his demon boss Callie (voiced by Natasha Leggero) and develops a reluctant friendship with his zombie roommate Randall (voiced by Kurt Metzger), whom he found on Craig’s List. Meanwhile, he battles rival Grimes (voiced by Larry Murphy) and his thug squad, who are apprehending “illegals” to fill a quota. UGLY AMERICANS is developed and executive produced by David M. Stern (THE SIMPSONS).
