Bump! Production on Fifth Season Begins with New Co-Host Deb Pearce

Bump! the world’s most watched gay and lesbian travel series produced by Bumper 2 Bumper Media, a joint venture of Peace Point Entertainment Group and Pink Triangle Press is currently in production on its fifth season with 23 new half-hour episodes shot in HD. Production has just begun and will continue until February 2011. Commissioning networks LOGO (Viacom-owned American gay network) will debut the new season in Spring 2011 followed by the Canadian debut on OUTtv for Fall 2011.

Bump! is the world’s first gay and lesbian travel and lifestyle television series. It is unique and international in scope. In each episode Bump! presents a new gay-friendly destination and gay human-interest stories in a stylish and upbeat format.

New co-host Deb Pearce joins the series and Charlie David returns for his fourth season as co-host. Deb is a celebrated and well-known Canadian comedian, performer, host and radio jock. Deb and Charlie will travel to exciting locations including Costa Rica, Boston, Provincetown, Saugatuck, Ottawa, Palm Springs, San Diego, West Hollywood, Sonoma County, Baltimore, Newcastle, Liverpool, Dublin and Belfast, as well as South American countries such as Peru, Argentina and Chile.

The show’s website www.bumptv.com includes streaming video clips from selected episodes, and practical travel information. The site is a gay travelers’ companion to the Bump television series, and includes tips on unique things to see, places to eat, shop and have fun, as well as links to gay and gay–friendly attractions, events and accommodations.

The Bump! Travel Guide app series for smart phones was launched this summer. The first 12 cities have been released, with each guide delivering a rich interactive multi-media overview of a gay-friendly destination. Curated and organized by category, other app highlights include photos and video clips, GPS mapping, user comments and ratings and currency and weather information.

Boxed DVD sets of Bump! episodes are available at retail stores across North America and online at Amazon.com, Blockbuster.com, 10percent.com and NetFlix.com.
