You won’t want to miss the Season 2 finale of HOT IN CLEVELAND, eh! The women of HOT IN CLEVELAND combine beer, pancakes and Maple Syrup in the Canuck-themed second season finale of the comedy, airing tomorrow (Mar. 27) at a special time at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on CTV.
What happens in Canada…stays in Canada? In a nod to The Hangover, the girls of HOT IN CLEVELAND go all out to toast Elka’s (Betty White) wedding in what becomes the ultimate staggette – only to end up in the province of Ontario after sneaking onto a cargo plane with the touring cast of Hairspray!
Titled “Elka’s Wedding” (Mar. 27 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on CTV), the girls wake up to find Victoria (Wendie Malick) and Joy (Jane Leeves) with outrageous hairdos, Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli) duct-taped to the wall, and the house trashed and crowded with sleeping frat boys – but worst of all, the bride Elka (Betty White) is missing! During the girls’ search for Elka, who is looking for a sign from her dead husband to marry Fred (guest star Buck Henry), they also try to find their own husbands. Meanwhile, Joy and Victoria find out that they both got married to each other the night before in a lesbian wedding ceremony performed on Canadian soil – Ontario. Flashing back to the night before, the women must gather fractions of their memory and clues to piece together why they fled to Canada and how they lost Elka.
The women of HOT IN CLEVELAND are going to have to take a lot of Aspirin and eat a lot of carbohydrates to avoid any “Canadian hangovers.”
