Bell Media Launches TV Everywhere With Bravo GO on July 18

Bell Media announced today that Bravo GO, its first TV Everywhere product, will be availableThursday, July 18 – bringing one of Canada’s premium and fastest-growing television channels beyond the TV screen and onto tablets, smart phones, and computer screens. Bell Media is the first Canadian broadcaster to offer live streaming, current season VOD, and library VOD as a single product offering. With Bravo GO, viewers will be able to access a live stream of Bravo Canada’s broadcast channel, and more premium on-demand programming than ever before.

Bravo GO is now available to TV service providers. Bravo GO is the first of many next-generation, multiplatform Bell Media TV Everywhere products, with other flagship brands scheduled to follow in the months to come including CTV, CTV News, TSN, RDS, Discovery and more.

“It is with great enthusiasm that we bring Bell Media’s TV Everywhere product suite to Canadian TV service providers, starting with Bravo GO,” said Kevin Crull, President, Bell Media. “GO embraces the evolution of how viewers consume television content. This launch represents a technical rebirth for all our brands, bringing them to more platforms and featuring more programming, both live and on demand, than ever before, and offers new opportunities for broadcasters, advertisers, and TV service providers. We look forward to working with our partners on the roll-out of all of our GO products in the months to come.”

Ease of access is at the core of Bell Media’s GO products. Content is accessible through both Wi-Fi and 3G/4G, both in and out of the home, providing an unprecedented level of access to Bell Media’s market-leading video content.

Viewers with a subscription to Bravo Canada from participating TV providers can authenticate (log in) using existing account information to access live and on-demand content through multiple points of access, including:

  • Bravo.ca
  • Bravo GO iOS and Android apps
  • Set top box service from participating TV service providers
  • Participating TV service provider website and apps

Each Bell Media brand roll-out will follow this ease-of-access, multiple-entry model. Eligible Bravo Canada subscribers from participating TV service providers will have access on Bravo GO to DALLAS, THE BORGIAS, FRANKLIN & BASH, PERCEPTION, SUITS, and WHITE COLLAR, plus exciting summer programming like GRACELAND and BOSTON’S FINEST.Bravo GO will also feature on-demand library inventory, such as all three seasons of THE BORGIAS. Bravo GO’s full line-up, as well as consumer access details, will be announced closer to launch.
