Rogers Xfinity Suite of Services Now in Canada

Rogers introduces Rogers Xfinity, a suite of in-home services leveraging Comcast’s world-class product and technology platform.

As part of the launch, Rogers is introducing Rogers Xfinity Streaming, giving customers access to top streaming apps and more free content, all in one place. This is the first product powered by Comcast’s next-generation EntertainmentOS, which today brings live sports, entertainment, news, movies and favourite shows together from the top streaming apps into one simple view.

This builds on the 10-year partnership Rogers and Comcast announced earlier this year.

“We’re thrilled to bring Comcast’s leading-edge Xfinity suite of products and services to Canadians” said Tony Staffieri, CEO, Rogers. “Rogers Xfinity will give our customers world-class internet and entertainment services on Canada’s fastest and most reliable network.”*

Rogers Xfinity delivers customers more: the best in entertainment, unbelievably reliable internet and WiFi, and an expanded suite of smart home technology products that will continually evolve to meet Canadians’ needs. With Rogers Xfinity, customers can game more, watch more, stream more, and keep their homes protected.

As a world leader in converged experiences, Comcast’s global technology platform leverages AI, cloud, and voice capabilities to deliver innovation that continually evolves.

“Rogers is a fantastic partner that shares our goal of providing customers with world-class connectivity and entertainment experiences,” said Dave Watson, CEO of Comcast Connectivity and Platforms. “We’re proud that Rogers is rolling out the Xfinity brand, our network design, and our award-winning products. Today’s launch marks another important milestone for our global technology platform as we continue to bring Comcast innovation to our syndication partners around the globe.”

The introduction of Rogers Xfinity follows the company’s recent announcement with Comcast to bring Canadians industry-leading internet technology. This builds on Rogers ongoing network upgrades to deliver enhanced reliability and multi-gig speeds to nearly seven million homes by the end of this year.
