Astral Media Inc. launched its brand new astral.com website—a project undertaken following the decision to create a new visual identity to reflect the company’s evolution and its culture driven by passion and creativity.
“In the media universe, Astral is a strong brand focused on providing a combination of intelligent and creative programming and properties that appeal to consumers and advertisers across the country,” stated Sylvia Morin, Vice President, Brand Management and Corporate Communications at Astral. “The new site features an advanced design that personifies the high level of performance and creativity that the Astral brand inspires.”
The site also presents in an engaging way Astral activities, notably in the commercial and philanthropic domains, with the general public, advertisers, the financial community, potential employees, as well as governments and institutions. It details the company’s vast portfolio, including 21 television services, 83 radio stations, nearly 8,000 advertising faces, and 100 websites and its rich history and activities as an ethical and socially responsible company.
“The section designed for advertisers, notably portions reserved for our Radio and Digital divisions, provides a remarkable showcase for the offering of Astral’s media properties,” adds Sylvia Morin. It effectively highlights their creativity, as well as Astral’s enviable position as a leading media company in Canada.
The site also provides an overview of the company’s investments in Canadian culture and the involvement of its team of 2,800 employees in the different communities where they live and work.
Developed in collaboration with Cossette’s Fjord agency, the site provides clients, advertisers, and media planners with invaluable information about Astral’s entire offering, including an interactive map featuring Astral radio properties across the country.
