CTV Life Channel is about to get an extra helping of charm when Irish television personality and cook Donal Skehan brings his fervor for food to its already packed lineup of lifestyle programming. Author of nine best-selling cookbooks, Donal Skehan is a food writer, photographer, and television presenter who inspires audiences with his delicious content. Skehan has appeared on numerous food and lifestyle series around the world, including JUNIOR MASTERCHEF in the U.K., and has appeared as a guest on the TODAY SHOW and the RACHAEL RAY SHOW. Joining forces with superstar chef Jamie Oliver, Skehan launched his own YouTube channel under Oliver’s Food Tube Network in 2014, which went on to become the fastest growing Irish food channel in the world and now has nearly one million global subscribers and more than 75 million views.
Following the philosophy of Skehan’s best-selling cookbook of the same name, DONAL’S SUPER FOOD IN MINUTES focuses on real-life cooking with an emphasis on ease, health, and flavour. Each of the 10, half-hour episodes guides viewers through five delicious recipes inspired by global cuisine. With all recipes crafted to be completed in 30 minutes of cook time, using only 10 ingredients, each episode features one five minute challenge, two quick and easy recipes, and two main dishes.
