Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) has once again been recognized as one of the top 25 employers in Manitoba. This is the third consecutive year APTN has received the coveted designation.
The announcement, which was made on Saturday, November 27th in the Winnipeg Free Press, was part of the annual Canada’s Top Employers survey done by Toronto-based Mediacorp Canada Inc.
“We are pleased and very honoured to once again receive this esteemed recognition,” said Jean LaRose, APTN Chief Executive Officer. “APTN has always placed a high emphasis on the welfare and professional development of our employees and have in turn experienced the benefits of a loyal, dedicated workforce who so passionately share the network’s vision with our dedicated viewers from all across Canada.”
APTN was one of 25 organizations recognized in the annual survey of Manitoba businesses, which looked at employers of any size, in the private or public sector, with their head offices or principal places of business in the province.
APTN has its headquarters in Winnipeg, and employs approximately 130 people in 11 regional offices across Canada.
