On a special season finale featuring back-to-back episodes of REPUBLIC OF DOYLE, fortuitous timing allows Jake (Allan Hawco) to witness the biggest prison break in the province’s history, orchestrated by his arch nemesis Maurice Becker (Gordon Pinsent). As cons flood the streets, Jake and the RNC have their hands full, but things get personal when the Doyles receive a perilous threat from Becker, against Tinny (Marthe Bernard). Refusing to be intimidated or scared off the job, new cop Tinny agrees to oversee a transportation of seized guns and drugs. Little does she know, Becker was banking on her loyalty to the RNC and her brave face may be exactly what Becker needs to execute his devious plans.
Driven to the edge by Tinny’s biological father, Jake comes face-to-face with escapee Kevin Crocker (Paul Gross) and almost kills him. But when the duo hears Tinny’s life may be in serious danger they realize that teaming up may be their only option to save Tinny. Jake and Crocker are forced to put their heads together and work as partners, while trying to avoid killing each other. Featuring special guest appearances by Gordon Pinsent, Paul Gross, Joel Thomas Hynes, Jonathan Keltz, Yannah McIntosh and Carlos Diaz.
