When and Where To Watch and Listen To The 2019 Juno Awards and Music Day on CBC

Canada’s public broadcaster will celebrate the second annual MUSIC DAY ON CBC on Sunday, March 17 with a lineup of special music programming starting at 3 p.m. ET on CBC and the free CBC Gem streaming service and at 6 a.m. on CBC MusicCBC Radio One will also carry select music programming throughout the day. The JUNO Awards will be live in all time zones across Canada from London, ON, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBC, CBC Radio One, CBC MusicCBC Gem streaming service in Canada and globally on cbcmusic.ca/junos.

New to MUSIC DAY ON CBC this year are two one-hour television specials, LONDON CALLING and CBC MUSIC PRESENTS: HEADLINES. LONDON CALLING airs on CBC at 5 p.m. ET and is available to stream now on CBC Gem, diving into the stories of the musicians with a connection to the 2019 JUNO Host City – London, Ontario. Hosted by Amanda ParrisLONDON CALLING will feature the likes of Guy Lombardo, producer Jack Richardson, Shad, The Band, Justin Bieber, and more. CBC MUSIC PRESENTS: HEADLINES is an essential refresher of the biggest, best and weirdest music headlines since last year’s JUNO Awards, airing at 6 p.m. ET on CBC and is available to stream now on CBC Gem.

Available to stream on cbcmusic.ca/junosCBC Gem, and CBC Music’s FacebookTwitter and YouTube pages, CBC Music will also be live before and after the award show from the JUNO AWARDS RED CARPET and CBC MUSIC PRESENTS PLAYLIST LIVE event. On Sunday, March 17 at 7 p.m. ET, tune into the live stream, hosted by Raina Douris, to see JUNO nominees, presenters and performers walk the red carpet ahead of the awards. Following the awards, fans can stream the legendary CBC MUSIC PRESENTS PLAYLIST LIVE event starting at 10:30 p.m. ET, where a lineup of nominees will take the stage to close out JUNO Week at London Music Hall.

CBC will keep the focus on Canadian music throughout JUNO Week, leading up to March 17, with special events in London in partnership with The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) including qLIVE at the JUNOS with Tom Power on Thursday, March 14, JUNO Cup Presented by CBC Sports on Friday, March 15, and JUNOfest Presented by CBC Music in different venues across London on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16. On Saturday, March 16, Junior JUNOS Presented with CBC Kids will be at Wolf Performance Halll at 10 a.m. and JUNO Fan Fare Powered by Live Nation Canada and CBC Music will be at CF Masonville Place at 12 p.m..  On Sunday, JUNO Songwriters’ Circle Presented by SOCAN in Association with Canadian Music Publishers’ Association hosted by Alan Doyle and Tom Power will be live on CBC Radio One and CBC Music at 12 p.m. ET, and the event will stream live at cbcmusic.ca/junos. The 48th annual JUNO Awards and JUNO Week 2019 kicked off this week in London, ON and runs through March 17, 2019.
