City’s television morning showsBreakfast Television Calgary and Breakfast TelevisionEdmontonwill join forces to broadcast a special Alberta edition of Breakfast Television all next week to viewers in both cities beginningMonday, June 24 from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. MT as part of the stations’ extensive coverage of the recent floods in Calgary and communities in Southern Alberta.
City to Broadcast Expanded Coverage of Alberta Floods
During the special Alberta edition of Breakfast Television, City on-air personalities Bridget Ryan, Tara Slone and Ted Henley will broadcast live from City Calgary studios, with live reports throughout the broadcast from Courtney Theriault from Medicine Hat.
Breakfast Television Calgary broadcast a special weekend edition of its morning show today, and will continue to deliver expanded coverage of the recent floods on Sunday, June 23 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. MT on City. Viewers can tune into City Edmonton at this time to watch a simulcast of the Calgary broadcast.
In addition, City Calgary and City Edmonton will also broadcast tonight’s CBC News special immediately following CBC Television’s broadcast of the hockey game. This special program will tell viewers what they need to know now, featuring testimonials from residents, as well as key developments on the situation.
