When Ted (Josh Radnor) attends his mother’s wedding, he is extremely disturbed by her overly affectionate relationship with her fiancé, which forces him to think about his own life and make an impulsive decision.

The Biggest Loser (s/NBC): Tuesday, April 20 at 8:00pm ET/PT (7:00pm CT, 9:00pm MT)
This week, the contestants learn that the kitchen will be closed for a day and they’ll have to eat their meals from a buffet table offering both high and low calorie choices. Whoever eats the most calories will win a coveted prize – the only vote at elimination. Then it’s off to a circuit beach workout with pro volleyball player Gabrielle Reece, and later, the players face off in a building block challenge testing their design and climbing skills. One player gets devastating news before the weigh-in, followed by an elimination that sends another contestant home.

The Braverman family is on high alert when Amber’s (Mae Whitman) ex-boyfriend Damien (guest star Eddy Rioseco, “Related”) arrives from Fresno. Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) takes Adam (Peter Krause) on a road trip for investment advice and some father-son bonding. Meanwhile, Julia (Erika Christensen) and Joel (Sam Jaeger) worry that Sydney (Savannah Paige Rae) might be suffering from Asperger’s and Crosby (Dax Shepard) wants to help plan Jabbar’s (Tyree Brown) birthday party.

The Marriage Ref (s/NBC): Thursday, April 22 at 10:00pm ET/PT (9:00pm CT, 8:00pm MT)
This week, new feuding couples bring their problems to Marriage Ref, Tom Papa, in the funny and revealing comedy series about the unpredictable and hilarious institution of marriage. Adam Carolla, Gloria Estefan and Donald Trump serve on the celebrity panel this week offering their “expert” opinions to the Ref, advising and influencing his decision.

30 Rock (s/NBC): Thursday, April 22 at 8:30pm ET/PT (7:30 CT, 9:30 MT)
Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) starts making an effort to date by attending singles events with Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski), and Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) feels forced to choose between childhood love, Nancy Donovan (Julianne Moore), and news anchor Avery Jessup (Elizabeth Banks). Meanwhile, a racist comment sparks an office-wide debate on affirmative action and leaves Toofer (Keith Powell) with a big decision to make regarding his future at TGS.

Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) discovers that the TGS staff has been excluding her from their weekly hangouts, and strives to prove that she can be fun. Jack (Alec Baldwin) must choose between janitors and the shift time they both want, and Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) aids Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) in being a good husband.

Who Do You Think You Are? (s/NBC): Friday, April 23 at 8:00pm ET/PT (7:00pm CT, 9:00pm MT)
Susan Sarandon was always intrigued by her grandmother, Anita Rigali, who disappeared when Susan’s mother Leonora was a child. Anita didn’t reappear again until Leonora was a teenager and aside from a couple of meetings, Leonora never heard from Anita again. Susan had heard rumours that Anita was a showgirl in New York but nothing was certain – where was she from and what happened to her? Some clever sleuthing catapults Susan to Italy in search of the Rigali family line, where she discovers she has very deep Italian roots. Back in New York Susan uncovers a death certificate, which provides the missing link to tracking down some long lost relatives and the fate of Anita.

Murdoch Mysteries (Citytv Original Series) Friday, April 23 at 9:00pm ET/PT (8:00pm CT,10:00pm MT) *New Episode, special time*
Two of the Beaton heirs have died under mysterious circumstances. Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) doesn’t buy the Manor staff’s contentions that the mansion is haunted by a ghost and sets out to prove it by staying the night and keeping a close eye on the surviving heirs.

Investigating the deadly robbery of a priceless Rembrandt draws Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) into the vibrant world of power couple James Pendrick (Peter Stebbings) and his free-spirited wife Sally (Kate Greenhouse) who has eyes for Murdoch.
