Three new single women and three new single men looking for love move into the house and have the opportunity to date in the darkroom. To see if they have chemistry with the opposite sex, the participants attempt to ‘Dance in the Dark’. Plus, the singletons get a chance to see video tours of each other’s homes – which proves very revealing.
America’s Got Talent (s/NBC): Tuesday, August 24 at 9:00pm ET/PT (8:00pm CT, 10:00pm MT)
Semi-finals begin – LIVE from Hollywood! The first group of 12 acts from the semi-finals perform LIVE in Hollywood for a chance at making it to the Top Ten. Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel and Piers Morgan star as the celebrity panel of judges and Nick Cannon hosts.
America’s Got Talent (s/NBC): Wednesday, August 25 at 9:00pm ET/PT (8:00pm CT,10:00pm MT)
The votes are in and five acts from the previous night move on to the Top Ten. These acts will continue their pursuit of the $1 million prize and will be one step closer to becoming the most talented act in America. Jules (Courteney Cox) has mixed feelings when Travis (Dan Byrd) gets accepted to two of his choice colleges. Now he must decide between schools in California or one just 20 minutes from home. As Jules struggles with the thought of Travis moving away, Grayson (Josh Hopkins) is there for her. Meanwhile, Laurie (Busy Philipps) considers her feelings for Smith (Ryan Devlin) when he returns from law school, and Andy (Ian Gomez) longs for the freedom to do whatever he wants around the house, free of Ellie’s rules.
The Booth at the End: Friday, August 27 at 12:00am ET/PT/CT/MT
From the Shorts in the City Series on Citytv.com, The Booth at the End centres on a mysterious Man (Xander Berkeley, 24) who sits at a booth at the end of a diner. People come to him with requests and the Man can make these things happen – for a price. In exchange for what they want, these individuals must sacrifice their morals and do deeds normally inconceivable to them. They must return to the Man and describe every step in detail. As the characters’ tasks begin to overlap, complications ensue. But the Man never forces anyone to do anything. It’s always up to them to start – or stop – with one lingering question: “How far would you go to get what you want?”
