The Bachelor (s/ABC): Monday, January 3 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT) ***SEASON PREMIERE***

Former Bachelor Brad Womack returns three years later to take another chance at love. When Brad gets to the Malibu mansion to begin his journey, he is caught off guard when host Chris Harrison escorts in two surprise guests: DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft! To add to his anxiety Brad must now face the final two women he scorned three years ago. Then, Brad’s 30 bachelorette’s begin to arrive. The First, Chantal, wastes no time with pleasantries and in the name of women everywhere, gives Brad a slap on the face. Later, as the party begins the women continue to express concerns about his past but Brad assures them that he’s a changed man. As the women begin to believe in Brad, they fight for his attention. The Bachelor awards the “first impression” rose to the woman who turned his night around. Finally, after a sincere thank you to the women for giving him a second chance, he regretfully eliminates 10 bachelorettes.

Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) see a fertility specialist when they fear they will never be able to have a baby; Robin (Cobie Smulders) begins a new job.

“Home Stretch”
Jeff (Patrick Warburton) is jealous when he learns that Audrey’s (Megyn Price) new home Pilates instructor is a man.

The Biggest Loser: Couples (s/NBC): Tuesday, January 4 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT) **SEASON PREMIERE***
In the premiere, the contestants will compete in a challenge, followed by making a game-changing decision in the order in which they finished. Host Alison Sweeney will offer the eleven family and friend teams of two the unprecedented opportunity to choose whether to work out with trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels at the ranch – or work out at a secret location with two unknown trainers, whose identities will initially remain a mystery. If the contestants choose the new trainers, whom they know nothing about, they’ll receive four weeks of immunity. If they choose to stay at the ranch and be trained by Bob and Jillian, they’re at risk of going home after just one week.

“Two Best Friends Play for $1 Million”
Two best friends, both working as bartenders have a chance to win a million dollars, but first they must make it through 10 challenges. Up first, the Baby Rattle challenge, where both contestants must transfer gumballs from the filled sides of two 2-litre bottles to the empty sides of two attached 2 litre bottles.

“Slow Down Your Neighbors”
Claire (Julie Bowen) goes on a crusade to put the brakes on a car that speeds through their neighborhood; Jay (Ed O’Neill) gives bike-riding lessons to Manny (Rico Rodriguez) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara); Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) are bewitched by a mysterious neighbour (guest star James Marsden, X-Men); and Phil (Ty Burrell) pursues a tough real-estate deal.

“No Reason To Cry”
When Grayson (Josh Hopkins) doesn’t share Jules’ sadness (Courteney Cox) on a series of unfortunate but accidental events, she questions whether they’re meant to be together. Meanwhile, Travis’ (Dan Byrd) new girlfriend throws Bobby (Brian Van Holt) off his golf game and Ellie gets upset with Andy (Ian Gomez) when he uses their joke on Laurie (Busy Philipps).

Supernanny (s/ABC): Friday, January 7 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
“George Family”
This San Antonio family is bursting at the seams with kids, conflict and aggression. Stay-at-home mom Joey-Lynn and her husband Glenn have five spirited daughters and a granddaughter, all living under the same roof. Their oldest, Samantha, 20, had a child as a teenager – their granddaughter Krissy, now age 2. Samantha and her next-oldest sister Brooke, 17, despise each other and curse at each other in front of the younger siblings – Savannah, 10, Hailey, 6, and Haidyn, 1 — who in turn act out with boundary-pushing and aggressive behaviour. Mom defers all discipline to Dad, who simply yells and doesn’t follow through. See Jo help this family defuse the anger.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition(s/ABC): Sunday, January 9 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
“Lampe Family”
The ultimate smack down and rebuilding of a new home will create a new beginning for Jeff and Shelley Lampe and their six children of Louisville, Kentucky. The nature loving Lampe family’s tree service business has been hit hard by a series of unfortunate circumstances and on-the-job injuries, forcing them to slow their pace and turn down work. In spite of it all, Jeff and Shelley Lampe power through each day to keep the family afloat. They converted their garage into a makeshift wrestling gym to train and mentor young people in their community. The Lampe children, ranging in ages from 4 to 17, have outgrown the dilapidated house and youngest daughter Angela, who has Down syndrome, needs a safe haven and a place to play all her own. The design team plans to restore this family’s home so they can continue using their love of wrestling as a way of giving back to their community. Celebrity volunteers include wrestling legend Dan Gable, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Randy Couture, Les Stroud (Survivorman) and Gabe Rygaard (Ax Men).

The Cape (s/NBC): Sunday, January 9 at 9pm ET/PT(10pm MT/8pm CT) ***2 HOUR SERIES PREMIERE***
Vince Faraday (David Lyons,ER), is an honest cop on a corrupt police force, who finds himself framed for a series of murders and presumed dead. He is forced into hiding, leaving behind his wife Dana (Jennifer Ferrin, Life on Mars) and son, Trip (Ryan Wynott, Flash Forward). Fuelled by a desire to reunite with his family and to battle the criminal forces that have overtaken Palm City, Vince Faraday becomes “The Cape” – his son’s favourite comic book superhero – and takes the law into his own hands.
