Murdoch suspects that Choy is being set up and that somehow his teenaged granddaughter figures in the murder. Murdoch’s dogged investigation into the fearful and mistrusting world of Chinese immigrants will lead him to expose the dark underbelly of police corruption and could prove to be both career and life threatening.
