Without telling each other, Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) research to see if it’s possible to choose the gender of their child; and Robin (Cobie Smulders) grows more frustrated with her new co- anchor.

Audrey (Megyn Price) starts her own cookie business after she gets bored with not having a job; and Timmy (Adhir Kalyan) tries to fit in with the other guys.

The Event (s/NBC): Monday, October 25 at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT, 10pm MT)
President Martinez (Blair Underwood) and the Director of National Intelligence, Blake Sterling (Željko Ivanek), fulfill their agreement with Thomas (Clifton Collins, Jr.), but after their plan goes awry, they suspect that there is a possible mole in their midst. Elsewhere, Sean Walker (Jason Ritter) digs for answers at Leila’s home, where he encounters Madeline (guest star Paula Malcomson, Deadwood), a mysterious conspiracy theorist. Meanwhile, Simon’s (Ian Anthony Dale) past is illuminated, and his allegiances are tested.

On the hunt for fugitive Carson Puckett (Enver Gjokaj) who is using explosives to get revenge, Annie (Kelli Giddish) gets injured and is forced to rely on bounty hunter Ben Crowley (guest star Eddie Cibrian, CSI:Miami). In Annie’s absence, under Jimmy’s (Cole Hauser) leadership, the team must use Daisy’s (Rose Rollins) tactical expertise to stop Puckett, and Luke (Jesse Metcalfe) is forced to step up to the plate.

FIVE PLAYERS RETURN TO TH… [+]
At this week’s weigh-in, only one person’s weight will count for the blue and the black team. It will be up to the opposing team to decide whose weight will count, leaving the blue and black teams busy strategizing on who they should choose. Then, the players get a visit from celebrity chefs Curtis Stone and Lorena Garcia. Each chef is paired with a team to help coach them through a timed cooking competition – but neither chef is allowed to actually touch the food.

In the midst of a financial crisis, Adam (Peter Krause) must make an important decision that will alter the company ‘s future. Jasmine (Joy Bryant) and Crosby (Dax Shepard) announce their future plans to Jabbar (Tyree Brown), who reacts surprisingly to the news. Meanwhile, Sarah (Lauren Graham) and

Amber (Mae Whitman) argue over Amber’s incessant partying with her new found friend. Sarah experiences challenges at work and even deeper issues with Gordon (guest star William Baldwin, Dirty Sexy Money).

Undercovers (s/NBC): Wednesday, October 27 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
After renowned weapons dealer, Xerxes, hides the formula to a dangerous and lethal biological weapon in a painting, Shaw (Gerald McRaney) assigns Steven (Boris Kodjoe) and Samantha (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) the task of traveling to Tuscany to secure the painting and capture Xerxes. When the assignment requires Samantha to assume a previous cover and partner with Steven’s enemy, Clive (guest star Sean Maguire, Meet the Spartans), the Blooms learn that teaming up together is not as easy as they thought. Meanwhile, Hoyt’s (Ben Schwartz) attraction to Clive’s assistant proves to be instrumental in finding the culprit.

Modern Family (s/ABC): Wednesday, October 27 at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT, 10pm MT)
Claire (Julie Bowen) prepares to make the Dunphy house spooky for Halloween; Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) does not like the holiday because of a traumatic childhood experience; Jay (Ed O’Neill) and Manny (Rico Rodriguez) make fun of Gloria’s (Sofia Vergara) accent and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) has a bad day at the office.

Cougar Town (s/ABC): Wednesday, October 27 at 9:30pm ET/PT (8:30pm CT,10:30pm MT)
Jules’ dad (Ken Jenkins, Scrubs) comes to visit for his favourite holiday – Halloween. Jules (Courteney Cox) is determined to connect with her dad — so much so that she gives in to dressing up for Halloween. Meanwhile, Grayson (Josh Hopkins) hits it off with Jules’ dad, Bobby (Brian Van Holt) wants back in as baby Stan’s guardian and Laurie (Busy Philipps) reminds Travis (Dan Byrd) how much fun Halloween is.

The Whole Truth (s/ABC): Wednesday, October 27 at 10pm ET/PT (9pm CT, 8pm MT)
Madeline Durand, a 45-year-old fashion designer is accused of murdering her young male model boyfriend. Jimmy Brogan (Rob Morrow) defends her – and it’s not the first time; Brogan represented her three years earlier when a previous young boyfriend was murdered under eerily similar circumstances.

Community (s/NBC): Thursday, October 28 at 8:30pm ET/PT (7:30pm CT, 9:30pm MT)
Pierce (Chevy Chase) and a few other Greendale students ingest a biohazard substance at the school Halloween party, causing them to exhibit flu-like symptoms and begin turning into zombies. It is up to the rest of the gang to save themselves and the school when Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) locks them in with the zombie-infected student body.

Law and Order: UK: Thursday, October 28 at 10pm ET/PT (9pm CT, 11pm MT)
A cyberstalker’s victim is desperate to have the police take her case seriously, but when a stalking case becomes a murder investigation, our heroes are pitched against each other. How far will they go to bring the right man to justice?

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (s/ABC): Sunday, October 31 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
The students at Oregon School for the Deaf (OSD) in Salem, Oregon, are well known for their spine tingling annual Halloween haunted house fundraiser — dubbed the ‘Nightmare Factory.’ The event, held in the basement of the boys’ dormitory, goes a long way toward generating much-needed income for the financially-strapped school. But the 12,000 square foot basement where the Nightmare Factory is usually held has become frightfully unsafe. In just seven days, The EM:HE design team makes the OSD basement safe again and trick it out in a scary and spook-tacular way. Celebrity volunteer Rob Zombie and Marlee Matlin help out in the transformation.

Conviction Kitchen, Season 2 (Citytv Original): Sunday, October 31 at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT,10pm MT)
The restaurant is opening in just four days, and things don’t look good… The power struggle between Biana and owner Daniel gets worse when the restaurant makeover hits a snag; a new trainee arrives in the kitchen while another goes AWOL after a night on the town and the front of house trainees struggle through a serving challenge at the city’s busiest patio. With mere hours to go, the dining room is still a mess, the food still hasn’t been prepped, the kitchen staff is short, and there aren’t even enough plates in the kitchen!
