Citytv welcomes CityLine host Tracy Moore back for her first all new episode since the birth of her baby Eva. The week kicks off with a special Thanksgiving themed episode followed by new episodes of CityLine all week long.
How I Met Your Mother (s/CBS): Monday, October 4 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
When Ted (Josh Radnor) declines Barney’s (Neil Patrick Harris) offer to design the new GNB building, Barney tries to woo him by using all of his best womanizing tactics. Meanwhile, Robin (Cobie Smulders) is still not over her relationship with Don and drunk dials him.
Rules of Engagement (s/CBS): Monday, October 4 at 8:30pm ET/PT (7:30pm CT, 9:30pm MT)
Audry (Megyn Price) gives a rug to Jenn (Bianca Kajlich) and Adam (Oliver Hudson). Jeff (Patrick Warburton) is upset by the prospect of having to buy a new rug, so he tells intimate stories involving the rug, in the hopes that Jenn and Adam will want to return it.
The Event (s/NBC): Monday, October 4 at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT, 10pm MT)
President Martinez’s (Blair Underwood) administration unveils a tough new strategy to force Sophia (Laura Innes) to reveal the detainees’ plan, putting into play a new detainee, Maya (guest star Clea DuVall, Heroes). Elsewhere, we learn that Vicky (Taylor Cole) and Carter (guest star D. B. Sweeney, Criminal Minds) are in possession of a crucial hostage. FBI Agent Collier’s (Heather McComb) suspicion grows deeper.
Chase (s/NBC): Monday, October 4 at 10pm ET/PT (9pm CT, 8pm MT)
After living a life in hiding using a false identity, fugitive Jack Druggan (Robert Knepper, Prison Break) embarks on a vengeful killing spree in an attempt to return to his notorious mobster glory days – boasting about his crimes and challenging the U.S. Marshals to catch him. Tension arises between Annie (Kelli Giddish) and Jimmy (Cole Hauser) as they race to track down Druggan before he can strike again.
The Biggest Loser (s/NBC): Tuesday, October 5 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
Trainer Bob Harper puts the contestants through a grueling workout, zeroing in on one player he thinks has shown him disrespect. Later, tennis superstar Anna Kournikova gives all the contestants tennis lessons for a total body workout before a tennis ball pop challenge. Then, the players are surprised by another early weigh-in, and those who fall below the yellow line face a wild elimination challenge involving 175 tons of sand before another contestant is sent home.
Parenthood (s/NBC): Tuesday, October 5 at 10pm ET/PT (9pm CT, 8pm MT)
Kristina (Monica Potter) learns some alarming statistics about the divorce rate of parents living with autistic children and as a result schedules a date night with Adam (Peter Krause) to keep their marriage alive. Meanwhile, Sarah (Lauren Graham) sees Drew (Miles Heizer) with a girl and offers him unsolicited love advice. Haddie (Sarah Ramos) runs for student council president and enlists her family’s help with her campaign and Crosby (Dax Shepard) learns an important lesson about being a father.
Undercovers (s/NBC): Wednesday, October 6 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
When an informant claims to have information on a codebreaking device that would compromise the identities of every agent in the CIA, Shaw (Gerald McRaney) sends Steven (Boris Kodjoe) and Samantha (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) to Berlin to verify the man’s claims. When the informant is killed, the duo meets with Hoyt (Ben Schwartz) and Leo (Carter MacIntyre) to check out the allegations. Amidst the danger around them, Steven and Samantha struggle to find the balance between being partners and husband and wife while out in the field. Back in Los Angeles, Lizzy (Mekia Cox) connects with a man while catering his father’s funeral.
Modern Family (s/ABC): Wednesday, October 6 at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT, 10pm MT)
When an earthquake hits, Claire (Julie Bowen) gets stuck in the bathroom with the plumber; Manny (Rico Rodriguez) experiences an existential crisis while out with Jay (Ed O’ Neill); Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) use the quake as an excuse to get out of a party thrown by a friend (guest star Nathan Lane, The Producers).
Cougar Town (s/ABC): Wednesday, October 6 at 9:30pm ET/PT (8:30pm CT,10:30pm MT)
As Jules (Courteney Cox) adjusts to living on her own, Grayson (Josh Hopkins) unwillingly becomes the new object of her constant attention; Travis (Dan Byrd) turns to Bobby (Brian Van Holt) for advice on how to redefine himself at college; and Ellie (Christa Miller) is determined not to be friends with her new nanny.
The Whole Truth (s/ABC): Wednesday, October 6 at 10pm ET/PT (9pm CT, 8pm MT)
When a prosperous couple is found lying in a pool of blood in their Upper West Side brownstone – the wife dead, the husband barely hanging on – Kathryn (Maura Tierney) charges their 16-year-old son with the crime. A night of intense interrogation elicits a confession from the obviously shaken teenager. Now, Jimmy (Rob Morrow) must prove that the boy was bullied into a false confession by an aggressive detective.
Community (s/NBC): Thursday, October 7 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
Pierce (Chevy Chase) deals with the death of his mother and the group comes together to comfort him in his time of need. Professor Duncan (John Oliver) struggles to take over the anthropology class with no training, as Professor Bauer (guest star Betty White, Golden Girls) takes an unexpected leave of absence after her classroom hijinks put Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) in the hospital.
30 Rock (s/NBC): Thursday, October 7 at 8:30pm ET/PT (7:30pm CT, 9:30pm MT)
Jack (Baldwin) must appear before Congress to discuss NBC’s merger with KableTown. He hopes that he will charm celebrity members (guest star Rob Reiner, The Story of Us), but one Congresswoman, Regina Bookman (guest star Queen Latifah, Just Wright), demands more diversity in its programming lineup. Jack quickly enlists Tracy (Tracy Morgan) to come up with some new development ideas. Meanwhile, Liz (Tina Fey) is fed up with the flack her writing staff gives her, and Jenna (Jane Krakowski) helps Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) reapply to the extremely competitive Page Program.
Fringe (s/FOX): Thursday, October 7 at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT, 10pm MT)
In this case, timing is everything as a series of anomalous events lead the Fringe Division to investigate deadly incidents with unimaginable coincidences. As the freaky crimes continue to occur, the team is in a race against time to protect potential victims. Meanwhile, Secretary Bishop (John Nobel) shares his strategic plan with Colonel Broyles (Lance Reddick) as Olivia (Anna Torv) grapples with a heart-stopping vision.
Hell’s Kitchen: Friday, October 8 at 8pm ET/PT/CT/MT
Challenges facing the 11 remaining chefs include devising menus for a retro-themed high-school prom and preparing entrée salads. The winner of the entrée salad competition will be featured in Bon Appetit magazine.
Extreme Makeover: Home Addition (s/ABC):Sunday, October 10 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)
Eric and Elaine Johnson and their five daughters had planned to transform their run-down house, but 2008’s Hurricane Ike and the economic downturn put that dream on hold. Both Eric and Elaine have dedicated their lives to rescuing family life and marriage starting up a counseling non-profit organization with the goal of strengthening marriages in fun, creative ways. Eric and Elaine continued their mission while living in their dangerously dilapidated house. Now the EM: HE design team – along with help from some top comedians, including Cedric the Entertainer, Tommy Davidson, Ralphie May, Paul Rodriguez and fashion model Brooklyn Decker – will make their home a safe place to live.
