Super Fans Join Franchise Favourites in Battle for Love and Money on Season 3 of Bachelor Pad, Premiering July 23 on Citytv and OMNI Television

What’s the best way to mend a broken heart?  Grab a swimsuit, ditch any inhibitions, and join fan favourites, arch rivals, villains and newcomers all under one roof in the Bachelor Pad.  Hosted by Chris Harrison (The Bachelor, The Bachelorette) and starring the most controversial housemates to date, Season 3 of Bachelor Pad features 20 singles including Emily Maynard’s (The Bachelorette) recent excess “baggage” Kalon McMahon, wound-licking Season 2 winner Michael Stagliano, a yet-to-be-revealed “Mystery Man” from this season of The Bachelorette, and for the first time ever, franchise “Super Fans.”  Premiering Monday, July 23 at 8 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on OMNI Television and Citytv (check local listings), Bachelor Pad sets off two hours of fireworks, drama, romance and endless possibilities, as insiders go toe-to-toe with outsiders to compete for $250,000 and a second chance at love.
In true Bachelor Pad form, the drama unfolds the minute the limos pull up to the pad revealing six new unfamiliar faces.  For the first time in its history, Bachelor Pad shook things up by holding open casting calls to give the franchise’s biggest fans a chance to hop in the hot tub and throw off the competition. The all-new “Super Fans” include MMA fighter David Mallet, country boy Chris Bain, and identical twin sisters Brittany and Erica Taltos – who will compete as one participant.  Will these fresh faces be able to hold their own against the insiders for a chance at love?

Former cast-off villain Kalon McMahon is surprised to see home-town “frenemy” Erica Rose back at the pad, Blakely Jones has a tough time getting along with the other women (surprise, surprise), and Sarah Newlon and Reid Rosenthal deal with the aftermath of their steamy adulterous kiss.  Season 2 champ Michael Stagliano makes a comeback to find love after being scorned by former fiancée and co-winner Holly Durst (who recently tied the knot with Season 2 competitor Blake Julian). Meanwhile, The Bachelorette Season 5 winner Ed Swiderski searches for life after his engagement to Canadian cutie, Bachelorette Jillian Harris.  With so many elements at play, Season 3 raises the stakes with catty conflicts, raunchy romances and a whole lot of drunken drama.

Each week, the new and reunited contestants compete in challenges, inspired by incidents from past seasons, for the opportunity to go on a date with the man or woman of their choice.  The winner of each challenge then grants immunity to one of his or her dates with a rose.  At the end of each episode, the contestants vote amongst themselves and cast ballots to determine who will be eliminated from the competition.  As alliances are formed, relationships will be put to the test as the couples and singles contend to send each other packing.
