The 2014 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS® Celebrate Music’s Top Recording Artists, November 23 on CTV

The biggest chart-topping artists from across the globe hit the stage to celebrate the best in the music industry as CTV presents the2014 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS®. Broadcasting live from the Nokia Theatre in L.A. on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV GO (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times), the multi-talented powerhouse Pitbull hosts the award show for the second time and will also perform a song from his forthcoming new albumGlobalization.

Announced as performers at this year’s music awards are global superstars and AMA winners Taylor Swift, One Direction, Mary J. Blige, and Fergie, along with Selena Gomez and Garth Brooks. Plus newcomers Iggy Azalea, Lorde, 5 Seconds of Summer, Sam Smith, Charli XCX, Imagine Dragons, and the host of the evening, Mr. Worldwide himself, Pitbull. Plus, a mix of film, music and television stars including Uzo Aduba, Elizabeth Banks, Aloe Blacc, Jamie Foxx, Julianne Hough, Jessie J, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Heidi Klum, Olivia Munn, Emmy Rossum and Taylor Schilling are set to present at the 2014 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS®. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming days.

As previously announced, Iggy Azalea leads the 2014 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS® with six nominations, John Legend, Katy Perry, and Pharrell Williams follow with five nominations each, while Lorde earns four nominations. Additionally, Beyoncé, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, and One Direction are nominated for three awards. This year, The Artist of the Year category increased from 5 to 10 nominees that include Iggy Azalea, Beyoncé, Luke Bryan, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, John Legend, Lorde, One Direction, Katy Perry, and Pharrell Williams.
