MUST-WATCH TITLES FOR APRIL
CTV Movies is a barrel of laughs this April, offering free streaming of evergreen comedies, including Pineapple Express, starring Seth Rogen and Danny McBride (VICE PRINCIPALS); Superbad, featuring Canadian actor Michael Cera (Juno) alongside Jonah Hill; and White Chicks, starring Marlon Wayans (Little Man), Shawn Wayans (Scary Movie), and Busy Philipps. CTV Throwback joins the fun with free streaming of entertaining comedies now added to the service:
- KEVIN CAN WAIT, dropping April 2, finds newly-retired police officer Kevin Gable (Kevin James, THE KING OF QUEENS) face tougher challenges at home than he ever did on the street after realizing his family’s needs don’t leave for a lot of free time.
- Created, written, and co-executive produced by series lead Ken Jeong (THE MASKED SINGER), DR. KEN, arriving April 9, centres on Dr. Kendrick “Ken” Park, an intelligent physician who tries to balance his personal life and career while dealing with his therapist wife and demanding children.
- Landing April 16, workplace comedy BREAKING IN (2011) follows the ridiculous schemes of employees at a high-tech security firm, managed by Oz (Christian Slater, True Romance), that takes extreme – and often questionable – measures to sell their protection services.
