CTV Delivers Canada’s #1 News Coverage of Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games

While the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games dominates CTV’s broadcast schedule from Feb. 12 – 28, Canada’s most-watched news team, CTV News, will continue to deliver Canadian and international news stories to viewers with both local and national newscasts in the morning, supper hour, and evening. In addition, CTV News Chief Anchor and Senior Editor Lloyd Robertson will provide regular news bulletins during prime time. Below is a detailed list of where to find both local and national CTV newscasts from Feb. 12 – 28 (all times ET; visit CTV.ca to confirm local listings).

CTV News coverage begins at the crack of dawn with OLYMPIC MORNING. Airing from 6 a.m. – 12 noon ET every day, OLYMPIC MORNING is the Olympic Games morning show, bringing viewers exclusive Vancouver 2010 news as well stories from across Canada and international stories from around the world. Additional details about OLYMPIC MORNING will be announced soon.

Canada’s most watched local newscasts will continue to deliver local supper hour newscasts during the Games. Airing at 5:30 p.m. ET daily across the country, CTV’s local anchors will deliver the local headlines that matter most to the community. As usual, national and international headlines can be found all day on CTV News Channel.

In the evening, Canada’s most-trusted news anchor, Lloyd Robertson will be on location in Vancouver delivering nightly news bulletins during OLYMPIC PRIME TIME on CTV. Broadcasting from the CTV Vancouver Olympic Games newsroom, Robertson will deliver the most important national and international stories of the day, including exclusive coverage from Vancouver 2010.

Fans of Canada’s most-watched national news program, CTV NATIONAL NEWS WITH LLOYD ROBERTSON, will continue to have the opportunity to watch the nightly broadcast at 11 p.m. in their time zone (11:30 p.m. NT) on CTV News Channel as usual. Anchored by Sandi Rinaldo, the national newscast is committed to bringing Canadians the news from home and around the world throughout the Games. With continued support from its domestic news bureaus across Canada and international bureaus in Washington, Los Angeles, London, Beijing and the Middle East, CTV News breaks more stories than any other Canadian broadcaster and will continue to lead the news industry during the Olympic Games.

CTV’s Olympic Games broadcast day ends each night with the one-hour nightly newscast direct from CTV Vancouver, beginning at 11 p.m. PT on CTV. Anchored by CTV Vancouver’s veteran news team Bill Good and Pamela Martin, the local newscast will deliver Olympic Games news to the country with a distinct local perspective.
