CTV MORNING LIVE Team Expands, Beginning Nov. 12 on CTV Edmonton

On Monday, Nov. 12, CTV MORNING LIVE viewers will rise and shine to an expanded team when new Co-Host Stacey Brotzel and Weather Specialist Jesse Beyer join current Co-Host Rob Williams in providing breaking local news, frequent detailed traffic reports, and up-to-the-minute weather forecasts for the viewers of Edmonton, central and northern Alberta.
Airing weekday mornings from 5:30 – 9 a.m., CTV MORNING LIVE provides an energetic and lively three-and-a-half hours of everything viewers need to start their day.

New Co-Host Stacey Brotzel

About Stacey Brotzel, Co-Host
Stacey’s sixth grade teacher Ms. Clement wrote these prophetic words on one of her assignments: “Great story, maybe one day you will be a journalist.” Now a veteran news anchor and reporter with a keen sense of what Edmontonians want in their morning news, Brotzel has developed her craft working for a variety of local television stations throughout western Canada. A graduate of NAIT, Brotzel has covered the Edmonton news beat since 1997. “I’m thrilled to be joining the CTV News team,” said Brotzel. “We’ll not only let our viewers know what happened while they were sleeping, they’ll leave the house with a smile on their face as well.”

Weather Specialist Jesse Beyer

About Jesse Beyer, Weather Specialist
A graduate of NAIT, Beyer joins CTV MORNING LIVE following his most recent weather forecasting post in Saskatoon. Mentored by CTV’s Josh Classen, the aspiring meteorologist is delighted to be returning to Edmonton. “Being part of the CTV MORNING LIVE team is fantastic,” said Beyer. “When it comes to weather reporting CTV Edmonton has the highest reputation. I’m proud to be joining such a strong tradition of excellence.”

CTV Edmonton is Edmonton’s longest-running television station, delivering six live local newscasts daily with CTV MORNING LIVE, CTV NEWS AT NOON, CTV NEWS AT FIVE, CTV NEWS AT 5:30 p.m., CTV NEWS AT SIX and CTV NEWS AT 11:30 p.m. Helmed by Edmonton’s favourite news anchors Carrie Doll and Daryl McIntyre, CTV Edmonton is proudly celebrating 58 years of serving north-central Alberta. In addition to their reporting and anchoring duties, CTV Edmonton’s local news personalities are leaders in the communities, offering their time for fundraising, community events and public appearances.
