CTV Original Culinary Series MARY’S KITCHEN CRUSH Returns Sundays, Beginning March 22

Host Mary Berg is back with a new batch of episodes as CTV announced today MARY’S KITCHEN CRUSH returns Sundays at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT beginning March 22 on CTV and everywhere CTV content can be found as part of CTV’s midseason schedule. Scheduled following the premiere of new unscripted wedding and lifestyle series I DO, REDO starring Jessica Mulroney, MADE®-in-Canada series MARY’S KITCHEN CRUSH returns fresh from Canadian Screen Awards nominations for Best Lifestyle Program or Series and Best Host, Lifestyle.

Culinary sweetheart, national best-selling cookbook author, and MASTERCHEF CANADA winner Mary Berg cooks up new episodes as she creates original recipes inspired by her family and close friends. Following each new episode, full written and video recipes featured on the show are posted to CTV.ca, which includes a recipe hub highlighting all the delicious details behind Berg’s dishes. CTV.ca also features video extras “Mary in a Minute”, “Mary Crushes”, and “Mary’s Mantras” where Berg dishes on her tastiest meals and kitchen hacks. And from Apples to Zester, Mary teaches fans her kitchen ABCs with “Mary’s ABCs”, found on CTV’s Instagram @CTV.

Starbucks Coffee at Home returns as a partner of MARY’S KITCHEN CRUSH, with Berg set to create a new Mocha Meringue Tart recipe featuring Starbucks Espresso Roast from the grocery store. The recipe and a how-to video will be featured on CTV.ca and available across Bell Media digital and social media channels. Berg will also appear in a new commercial highlighting the recipe, which premieres during the new episode of MARY’S KITCHEN CRUSH. Digital travel series FOR GLOWING HEARTS also features Berg as she explores some of the country’s best travel destinations in partnership with Destination Canada.

MARY’S KITCHEN CRUSH returns with “Brunch Engagement,” airing Sunday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT. Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Berg’s brother Michael, and she couldn’t be happier to have her future sister-in-law Julia join the family. To celebrate their engagement, Berg is breaking out the champagne and whipping up a beautiful brunch for the happy couple. She serves up an English breakfast frittata overflowing with sausage and fresh veggies, an assortment of delectable danish pastries, and a sweet and spicy watercress and melon salad with chili dressing.

Berg’s culinary journey began after capturing the title of MASTERCHEF CANADA. She can be seen regularly as a food expert on CTV’s YOUR MORNING and THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW, and continues to develop recipes for shows, food, beverage brands, and her blog A Small Stove. Berg’s first cookbook, Kitchen Party – a national bestseller – was published in September 2019.
