CTV Unveils Summer Schedule

CTV’s summer programing was finalized today with announcement of the return of the most-watched television program in Canada last summer, THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, headlining the network’s Summer 2015 schedule with its third season premiere Wednesday, July 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV GO.  Canada’s most-watched Canadian series is joined by blockbuster summer event series ZOO, airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV GO, beginning June 30.

An all-new season of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA andZOO join a summer lineup featuring new and returning fan-favourite hits including: Betty White and the gang in Part 1 of the farewell season of HOT IN CLEVELAND (May 26), as well as another celebrity filled season of HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT (July 7).

CTV remains the destination for live events and award shows this summer, with the FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015™ matches beginning June 6.

ZOO – *NEW SERIES*

In ZOO, Jackson Oz (James Wolk, MAD MEN), a young, renegade American zoologist, spends his days running safaris in the wilds of Africa, when he begins noticing the strange behavior of the animals. HOT IN CLEVELAND (Season 6) – *FINAL SEASON (PART 1)*

CTV delivers its first batch of episodes of the final season ofHOT IN CLEVELAND this summer, as Betty White and the gang including Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Malick get set to bid farewell. Season 6 begins with Joy (Leeves) deciding whether to marry Mitch (Tim Daly), Simon (Craig Ferguson), or Bob (Dave Foley). Meanwhile, Victoria’s (Malick) new CGI movie proves challenging in ways she didn’t expect and Elka (White) tries to bring film jobs to Cleveland. Guest stars this season  include: Billy Baldwin (GOSSIP GIRL), Robert Wagner (NCIS), George Takei (THE NEIGHBORS), Ernie Hudson (FRANKLIN & BASH), Brian Baumgartner (THE OFFICE), Timothy Omundson (SUPERNATURAL), Kelen Coleman (THE McCARTHY’S), and Kurt Fuller (THE GOOD WIFE).

HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT (Season 3) – *NEW SEASON*

Hosted by Jane Lynch, HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT features A-list celebrities partaking in a cocktail party atmosphere that is based on the real-life game nights of creator Sean Hayes. Season 3 features celebrities such as Ming-Na Wen (MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.), Yvette Nicole Brown (THE ODD COUPLE), Gina Rodriguez (JANE THE VIRGIN), Zachary Quinto (THE SLAP), singer Joe Jonas (I CAN DO THAT!), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (MODERN FAMILY), Zachary Levi (CHUCK), Seth Green (ROBOT CHICKEN), Tom Arnold (SIN CITY SAINTS), comedian Jeff Dye, celebrity chef Curtis Stone, and more joining in the fun, as they face-off in hilarious party games.
