It’s no illusion: CANADA AM offers a magical wake-up call to fans at home and in studio with an exclusive live performance and interview on June 16 at 7:30 a.m., the day after her new record The Laws Of Illusion is in stores.
Beverly Thomson and Seamus O’Regan welcome the multi-platinum, Grammy®-award winning artist behind chart-topping albums like her 1993 breakthrough Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, quadruple-platinum Mirrorball, and the five-times platinum Afterglow. Now, McLachlan is back – promoting her first studio album of new material in seven years, The Laws Of Illusion. In this unique, 90-minute special, fans rub shoulders with McLachlan as she takes over Canada’s #1 morning show with a concert in front of a live studio audience in the legendary Concert Hall at CTV’s historic Masonic Temple.
For fans in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) on June 16 that wish to be a member of the studio audience and experience the music of Sarah McLachlan up close and personal, send an email to [email protected]. The first 200 people to send an email with their day/night contact information will get a reply confirming they have secured two seats in the audience for this concert, along with directions to the location and the required arrival times.
The Laws Of Illusion will be released just weeks in advance of the kick-off to Lilith Fair 2010. The historic all-women touring festival, founded by McLachlan, is one of the highest-grossing touring festivals in the world.
