New Weekly Podcast Series THE JANN ARDEN PODCAST Debuts November 23

Following this week’s announcement of the new CTV special JANN ARDEN ONE NIGHT ONLY, iHeartRadio Canada announced today the launch of the brand-new original podcast THE JANN ARDEN PODCAST, dropping tomorrow on iHeartRadio Canada and everywhere podcasts are found. Hosted by multi-talented Canadian icon Jann Arden, the weekly podcast discusses the challenges, triumphs, and tribulations of everyday life. THE JANN ARDEN PODCAST is a fun-filled, relatable experience that explores relationships, sleep, the supernatural and more of what connects people with a variety of special guests including musicians, actors, politicians, writers, and athletes.

“What I love so much about podcasting is the opportunity to learn and connect with people all over the planet. Every single time I meet someone new and experience a new perspective through a respectful, interesting conversation, I feel a little bit taller and a little bit more enlightened,” said Arden. “We are all on this journey together and I want to spend more time finding our common ground rather than trying to pry into that seemingly, ever expanding divide.”

“iHeartRadio Canada continues to provide innovative content by featuring the eccentric voice of Jann Arden in her very own podcast,” said Rob Farina, Head of Radio Content, Strategy, and iHeartRadio at Bell Media. “We are thrilled to give listeners the chance to hear from Jann on a weekly basis, offering energizing discussion and astounding stories with a variety guests.”

Arden is a multi-platinum, award-winning singer, songwriter, broadcaster, author, actor, podcaster, and social media star. A celebrated Canadian artist, Arden has released 14 albums with 19 top ten singles; her most recent recording being “These Are the Days.” In 2017, she released her fourth book, the Canadian bestseller, Feeding My Mother – Comfort and Laughter in the Kitchen as My Mom Lives with Memory Loss.

Arden is a recurring guest host on CTV’s THE SOCIAL, and stars in the hit CTV original comedy series, JANN, currently in production on Season 2 and set to premiere as part of CTV’s 2019/2020 schedule. Arden is also set to star in an all-new CTV special, JANN ARDEN ONE NIGHT ONLY on December 4, taking the stage at Toronto’s The Great Hall for an evening of conversation and music.

THE JANN ARDEN PODCAST is executive produced by CHUM 104.5’s Caitlin Green. The podcast is also available for distribution to all broadcasters through Orbyt Media.
