Richard Crouse’s POP LIFE Returns for Another Round of In-Depth Conversation, Premiering Sept. 15 on CTV News Channel and CTV

CTV News Channel pops the cork on a third season of its weekly entertainment talk series POP LIFE, hosted by film critic and pop culture historian Richard Crouse, premiering Saturday, Sept. 15 at 8:30 p.m. ET on CTV News Channel (also airing Saturdays at 12 midnight ET on CTV). Each week, Crouse moderates in-depth interviews and panel discussions with international celebrities and beloved Canadian personalities.

The show’s new season toasts renowned guests from across the entertainment world as they step inside the POP LIFE bar for a glass of Ontario wine and a compelling conversation focusing on their lives, careers, and significant topics within pop culture and the media. This season’s one-on-one interviews include comedian and actor Ken Jeong, hot off the massive worldwide success of Crazy Rich Asians; celebrated cultural critic and author Fran Lebowitz; Canadian broadcasting icon Lloyd Robertson; beloved TV personality and interior decorator Debbie Travis; breakout stand-up comedian, actress, and JFL42 performer Fortune Feimster; Ottawa-born actor and screenwriter Jay Baruchel, and many more.

“Take a dynamic discussion with celebrated storytellers, pair it with a few bottles of Ontario wine, and you’ve got an ideal Saturday night,” said Crouse. “I’m very excited to invite Canadian entertainment fans into the POP LIFE bar for an all-new season.”

Richard Crouse is the resident film critic for CTV News Channel and CP24. His syndicated Saturday afternoon radio show, THE RICHARD CROUSE SHOW, originates on NEWSTALK 1010 in Toronto. He is the author of nine books on pop culture history including Who Wrote the Book of Love, best-seller The 100 Best Movies You’ve Never Seen, its sequel The Son of the 100 Best Movies You’ve Never Seen, best-seller Raising Hell: Ken Russell and the Unmaking of The Devils, and Elvis is King: Costello’s My Aim is True.

Encore presentations POP LIFE also air Sundays at 2:30 p.m. ET on CTV News Channel.

POP LIFE is also available on demand at the show’s official website and on the CTV GO and CTV News GO apps (visit CTV.ca for local television listings). Crouse’s in-depth discussions, along with bonus interview content, are available on the POP LIFE podcast on CTVNews.ca.
