She’s Back! THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW’s First Week of Guests Revealed

The cold days of winter are about to get a lot warmer. CTV announced today that DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES heartthrob James Denton is set to appear as the first celebrity guest on the highly anticipated daytime talk show, THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW.

Premiering Monday, January 10, THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW offers Canadians daily inspiration, lifestyle tips, fun conversation and endless entertainment. Joining Denton on the roster of guests for the show’s inaugural week are multi-platinum musician Josh Groban, actors Clint Howard, and Jason Priestley (CALL ME FITZ), Canadian-born International fashion model Jessica Stam, and hairstylist to the stars, Oribe. Additional upcoming guests include actors, Wendie Malick (HOT IN CLEVELAND), Taylor Kitsch (FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS), and Eric Braeden (YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS); fitness and health promoter Suzanne Somers, fashion designer Alfred Sung, celebrity chef Mark McEwan, and fitness model, columnist, and author Tosca Reno. Taped live in front of a studio audience, THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW airs daily at 10 a.m. ET and 2 p.m. ET on CTV, and on /A\ at 5 p.m. ET (check local listings).

“I couldn’t be happier about the show’s lineup for January,” said Executive Producer Nan Row. “We’ve received a tremendous response from potential guests and have a diverse array of talent set to appear – from movie and TV stars, to big names in lifestyle and music. There is something for everyone!”

Fans of CTV’s DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES need no introduction to actor James Denton, who plays plumber Mike Delfino on the critically-acclaimed television series. Viewers can tune in on Monday, January 10 and settle in for some live, candid conversation with Marilyn Denis as Denton is first to visit Marilyn in her new digs and go one-on-one with the reigning queen of daytime television.

Next to take a seat in the guest chair alongside Marilyn is world-renowned musician and multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban. The man behind the indisputably beautiful voice has got a new album (Illuminations), a new producer (Rick Rubin), and a new first stop in Toronto as he visits Marilyn for a chat. Josh Groban appears on THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW on Tuesday, January 11.

Clint Howard, brother to one of Hollywood’s most famed directors, Ron Howard, sits down with Marilyn on Wednesday, January 12 to discuss his role as a quirky plant specialist in the upcoming comedy The Dilemma, also starring Vince Vaughn, Kevin James and Winona Ryder.

Oribe, hairstylist to the stars, will share a few tips with Marilyn on Thursday, January 13. Styling some of the biggest names in the industry including Cindy Crawford for the cover of Vogue, Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell and Diana Ross, Oribe has been at it for years – and will give Marilyn the scoop on working with the most recent and highly anticipated AMERICAN IDOL judge, the lovely Jennifer Lopez.

The fun doesn’t stop and the laughter is sure to be heard across Canada on Friday, January 14 when fan favourite Jason Priestley checks in with Marilyn, spreading some daytime cheer. Priestley’s new television show, CALL ME FITZ, has been getting great reviews since it premiered in September, and has already wrapped shooting on its second season.

Audiences of THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW are in for even more excitement with the jam-packed line up of special guests the week of January 17 – 21, including heartthrob Taylor Kitsch of The Bang Bang Club and FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS; everyone’s favourite leading man Eric Braeden who plays Victor on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS; the always lovable fitness and health promoter Suzanne Somers; famed Canadian fashion designer Alfred Sung; celebrity chef and restaurant master Mark McEwan; actor Wendie Malick (HOT IN CLEVELAND), New York Times best-selling author of the The Happiness Project Gretchen Rubin; and fitness model, columnist and author Tosca Reno.
