After premiering to 1.9 million viewers to win its timeslot Wednesday night on CTV, new hit series THE DEFENDERS returns to CTV next Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. ET.
Freshman Fall series LAW & ORDER: LOS ANGELES, starring Skeet Ulrich (JERICHO), Corey Stoll (Salt), Terrence Howard (Iron Man) and Alfred Molina (The Sorcerer’s Apprentice), will now make it’s series premiere on /A\ next Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. An encore broadcast airs on CTV the following Saturday, Oct. 2 at 9 p.m. ET.

In the new THE DEFENDERS episode entitled “Las Vegas v. Reid” (Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. ET on CTV), Nick (Jim Belushi) works the system to free a single mother accused of running down a jogger while chit chatting on her cell phone. Meanwhile, Pete (Jerry O’Connell) does his best to help a man down on his luck.
In the series premiere of LAW & ORDER: LOS ANGELES entitled “Hollywood” (Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on /A\), when a group of thieves target the homes of young Hollywood, Detectives Rex Winters (Ulrich) and Tomas “TJ” Jaruszalski (Stoll), they soon discover there is more to the crimes than meets the eye. After the perpetrators are thought to be uncovered, another shocking crime is committed at the home of a young starlet and her stage mom. As everyone starts turning on each other, Deputy District Attorney Morales (Molina) remains intent on exposing the real ringleader.
