CTV and The Little Potato Company announced on Monday, Sept. 30 that they have again partnered to offer Canadians the opportunity to win a grand prize including $10,000 and the opportunity to cook their recipe on CTV’s THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW. Entering its fifth year, the culinary challenge runs until Sunday, Nov. 3. Canadians are invited to show off their culinary creativity by submitting their own original dish containing small potatoes that can be cooked in 30 minutes or less to CTV.ca/LittlePotatoCo.
Celebrity chef and MASTERCHEF CANADA judge Michael Bonacini is set to appear on THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW today, Thursday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. ET on CTV to kick-off the contest. Bonacini will create two quick and easy recipes featuring Little Potatoes.
“We’re happy to continue to partner with The Little Potato Company for a fifth straight year, as we again bring this incredible culinary opportunity to life,” said Laird White, Director, Brand Partnerships, Bell Media.
“There is a huge trend to eating healthier, but we still want it quick. Adding our Creamer potatoes to your family’s meals are a healthy, quick option that you can feel good about,” said Angela Santiago, CEO and Co-Founder of The Little Potato Company. “Michael Bonacini and MASTERCHEF CANADA are a perfect choice to carry on this challenge and we can’t wait to see what this year’s keen competition will bring to the table.”
Following the entry period, a panel of judges will select 10 finalists, who will then be required to submit a video of the 30 minute dish , before the competition is narrowed down to the Top 2 dishes. Then, in December, the Top 2 will participate in a cook-off on THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW, where host Marilyn Denis, alongside Michael Bonacini, will judge and award one winner the $10,000 prize.
