The Search for Love Begins, as New CTV Original Series FARMING FOR LOVE, Hosted by Sabrina Jalees, Premieres May 28

Five single Canadian farmers are ready to take viewers on their search for love, as CTV announced today that unscripted dating series FARMING FOR LOVE airs Sundays at 7 p.m. ET/PT beginning May 28 on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app. As also revealed today, writer, actor, and comedian Sabrina Jalees (ROAST BATTLE CANADA) will host the series, guiding the farmers on their journeys to find their perfect match.

Based on Fremantle’s long-running and successful hit format THE FARMER WANTS A WIFE, which has resulted in 197 weddings and 480 children to date, FARMING FOR LOVE sees five of Canada’s most eligible farmers embark on an epic journey to find true love. They’ll invite a group of singles to live and work alongside them, immersing themselves in a series of farm chores, group activities, and intimate one-on-one dates with the ultimate goal of finding their life partner.

Farmers on the road to find love in the inaugural season include equestrian Ashleigh, wine producer Charley, livestock and grain farmer Dave, dairy farmer Doug, and berry and agritourism farmer Gurleen. More information on Canada’s most eligible farmers and the daters vying for their love will be available on TheLede.ca and CTV.ca/FarmingForLove.

In the series premiere “Let The Dating Begin!”, airing Sunday, May 28 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app, the country meets a group of farmers looking for love. In what could be the meeting of a lifetime, farmers do their best to get to know their daters through a series of speed dates before choosing a handful to take back to their farm. At the end of the day, one farmer shocks everyone, while host Sabrina Jalees drops an exciting bomb of her own, beginning the journey with a thrilling start.

Exclusive videos are available throughout the season on the @CTV and @FarmingForLoveCTV social channels and on CTV.ca and the CTV app, providing viewers with extended never-before-seen scenes from the series, and exclusive digital content including outtakes and lighthearted moments from this season.

Can-Am Off-Road is brand partner of the inaugural season of FARMING FOR LOVE. Farmers and daters will use BRP’s wide range of Can-Am Off-Road vehicles to transport them on their road to love across various locations throughout the series.
