Summer looks sharp as fan-favourite, hit series UNFORGETTABLE returns to the CTV lineup with dramatic new twists and turns. With an average of 1.5 million viewers in Season 1, UNFORGETTABLE emerged as the #1 new drama of Fall 2011. The compelling cop drama stars Poppy Montgomery (WITHOUT A TRACE) as Carrie Wells, a detective with a rare medical condition that gives her a visually a flawless memory, and Dylan Walsh (NIP/TUCK) as her ex-boyfriend and partner on the NYPD.
Season 2 is off to a fresh new start when the pair is recruited from Queens to Manhattan’s headline-grabbing Major Crimes Division, joining new series regulars Dallas Roberts (THE WALKING DEAD), Tawny Cypress (HOUSE OF CARDS), and season premiere guest star Andrew McCarthy (LIPSTICK JUNGLE). UNFORGETTABLE (Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV) is all-new this season – new episodes, new cases, and a new team for NYPD homicide detectives Carrie Wells and Al Burns. But Carrie’s amazing ability – a rare condition that makes her memory so flawless that everything is embedded in her mind – remains the key to solving the department’s most baffling crimes. Carrie’s memory helped her and Al close a staggering number of murder cases, which catches the eye of ambitious, and oh-so-politically correct, Eliot Delson (Dallas Roberts, THE WALKING DEAD), head of the Major Crimes Division of the NYPD. In Season 2, Carrie and Al agree to leave Queens to join Eliot’s team in Manhattan, though Carrie forces him to bring on Joanne Webster (Jane Curtin, 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN), a brilliant medical examiner well-known to Eliot for her acerbic personality. In the season premiere of UNFORGETTABLE entitled “Bigtime” (Sunday, July 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV), Andrew McCarthy (LIPSTICK JUNGLE) guest stars as Ari Sonnenland, a wealthy real estate developer whose 11-year-old daughter has been kidnapped. The wealthy businessman has the money to pay the ransom, but is reluctant to accept help from the NYPD and turns to Carrie and Al to help solve the case.
