To be taped at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the all-star tribute concert honours Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn who will receive the Academy’s Milestone Award in recognition of their 20-year, record-breaking career.
With 23 #1 hits, 30 million records sold and more than 80 industry awards, Brooks & Dunn will be recognized as holding the record for the most wins of any artist in the Academy’s history. The duo has won with an incredible 26 Academy of Country Music Awards in total, including three for Entertainer of the Year. They will also be honoured for a record number of Top Vocal Duo wins of 15 awards, eight of which were won consecutively from 2000-2007.
