ET Canada and Moxie’s celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Young & The Restless with exclusive contest

Global’s Entertainment Tonight Canada, in partnership with Moxie’s, celebrates four decades of the hit daytime series The Young & the Restless with an exclusive contest giving away a trip for two to the Monte Carlo Television Festival to meet cast members at the invitation-only Y&R 40th Anniversary Party.

The contest will be supported by a 4-week campaign featuring in-show promotion (:20 spot) and out-of-show contest promos on Global (:30 and :20 spots). The :30 spot will also be running on the Food NetworkHGTVLifetimeShowcase andSlice.

“For 40 years, generations of Canadian viewers have tuned in to The Young & the Restless, making it the top daytime program for the key women and adult advertising demos,” said Jason KeownSenior Director of MarketingGlobal Entertainment. “ET Canada connects fans to the stars each weeknight, and alongside Moxie’s, we are thrilled to be making this Hollywood fantasy a reality for one of our lucky viewers.”

The grand prize of a trip for two to Monte Carlo includes round-trip airfare for two, five nights accommodation, VIP invitation to attend the Y&R 40th Anniversary Party which will include a meet-and-greet with cast members, as well as two tickets to both the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2013 Monte Carlo Television Festival.

ET Canada will bring viewers up close and personal with the stars of Y&R with exclusive interviews at the Monte Carlo Television Festival. In addition to fun in the sun in Monaco this June, the ET Canada team will be jet-setting around the world this spring and summer to bring viewers access to the world’s hottest celebrity events. ETC will kick off the summer celebrations with the Cannes Film Festival in May as Rick Campanelli goes on location at the hottest parties and red carpets. In June, Erin Cebula will rub shoulders with the industry’s biggest players at the Banff World Media Festival. And come July, viewers will join Sangita Patel on her journey to London to cover the Royal Birth. Plus, fans need to stay tuned for ETC’s unparalleled access to the Teen Choice Awards and the Calgary Stampede.

The Young & the Restless airs Monday to Friday at 4:30pm ET on Global.
