Global Announces Midseason Lineup

Following a strong fall 2014 season, Global starts the New Year with more must-see programming, returning hits and fan favourites. Joining the schedule is the hotly anticipated series Battle Creek, fromBreaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and House creator David Shore. Since the final episode of Breaking Bad, fans of the series have been waiting with bated breath for Vince Gilligan’s next move, and his gritty new drama Battle Creek doesn’t disappoint. Starring Josh Duhamel (Las Vegas, Life as We Know It) and Dean Winters (Oz, Rescue Me, 30 Rock), the series follows two mismatched law enforcement officers whose polar opposite views of crime-solving breed frustration, disdain, humor and possibly a grudging respect, as they clean up the hardscrabble streets of Battle Creek, Michigan.

After an action-packed fall finale that saw Reddington overcome one threat only to face another even greater challenge, the pulse-stopping thriller The Blacklist returns with all-new episodes this February. In a special two-part episode, The Blacklist premieres on February 1, immediately following The Super Bowl, before moving to Thursday nights at 9 pm beginning on February 5. Viewers who haven’t yet experienced The Blacklist can catch up on the current season on Global Go and the last season on shomi before the series returns.

Global continues to deliver drama, with its midseason schedule keeping audiences warm all winter long. Returning to the schedule is fall’s breakout Top 10 series NCIS: New Orleans (January 6), alongside hit show Stalker (January 14). Global also welcomes previous summer series The Night Shift to the schedule (February 23). Plus viewers go back to the boardroom with an all-new season of big stars and even bigger cat fights on The Celebrity Apprentice, premiering on January 8.
