The GRAMMY Awards®: ET Canada Live Pre-Show Returns with the Hottest Red Carpet Coverage Beginning at 7pm ET/PT

Chock-full of electrifying performances, high-octane glamour, and buzzworthy moments, the prestigious awards show, the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards®will be broadcast live on Global on Sunday, February 10 – 8pm ET/PT.

Pitch-perfect NCIS: Los Angeles star and GRAMMY winner, LL Cool J returns as host of the ceremony which will see some of the world’s biggest music acts take the stage. Pop royalty Taylor SwiftRihannaKelly Clarkson, Justin TimberlakeMaroon 5 and Carrie Underwood will get the crowd on their feet as indie rockers Mumford and Sons,FunThe Lumineers,Jack White and The Black Keys pump up the volume. Viewers are in for a smooth ride as R&B singers Frank Ocean and Alicia Keys perform. The star-studded night kicks off in style at 7pm ET/PT with the one-hour live special The GRAMMY Awards: ET Canada Live(#ETCGRAMMYs). With 10 cameras covering every inch of the carpet, and ET Canada personalities Rick Campanelli (@RCampanelliETC),Roz Weston (@RozWeston), and Natasha Gargiulo (@NatashaGargiulo) catching the stars before they enter the Staples Center, viewers at home will get an unparalleled and unrestricted look at their favourite stars. Global will be giving viewers an intimate look at the making of last year’s show with GRAMMYs Will Go On: A Death in the Family airingSaturday, February 9 – 9pm ET/PT. Featuring never-before-seen celebrity interviews and conversations about Whitney Houston’s passing and an inside look at the organizers’ deliberations mere hours before the show, including their decision to have Bruce Springsteen join Paul McCartney on stage, “A Death in the Family” will provide viewers with unprecedented backstage access to the pivotal hours leading up to an unforgettable and emotional show that touched viewers around the world.

Returning sponsors L’Oréal Paris and Nissan will be joined by new sponsor, PepsiCo, who is unveiling an exclusively-Canadian commercial starring Canadian comedy legend Martin Short for their Lay’s brand. The TV spot will unveil a very exciting and interactive contest for Lay’s potato chip lovers in 2013. For the sixth consecutive year, L’Oréal Paris returns as the official beauty sponsor of The GRAMMY Awards: ET Canada Live, joined this year by Skinny Cow. In conjunction with their sponsorship, Skinny Cow is driving brand awareness of the NEW Skinny Cow Chocolate line by giving consumers an opportunity to share celebrity news from the GRAMMYs’ red carpet and drive conversation among Skinny Cow fans.
